Descriptive Writing
One sunny afternoon, I visited the city zoo. Crowds of people gathered
around the lion enclosure, eagerly awaiting the show. The zookeeper
announced that we were about to see something incredible.
A large, powerful lion named Leo entered the enclosure. His golden fur
shone in the sunlight as he moved gracefully. The zookeeper then brought
in a small, agile dog named Bella. The difference between them was
striking—Leo was huge and majestic, while Bella was tiny and quick.
The zookeeper explained that Bella and Leo had been trained to perform a
special trick together. Bella climbed up a tall platform, her tiny paws
moving quickly. The audience held their breath as she reached the top.
Leo stood below, his eyes focused on Bella.
With a nod from the zookeeper, Bella jumped from the platform. She
soared through the air, heading straight for Leo. In a breathtaking
moment, Leo caught Bella gently on his back. The crowd erupted in
cheers and applause.
Watching this amazing act, I felt a sense of awe. The trust and bond
between Leo and Bella were clear. It was incredible to see such different
animals work together so perfectly. This experience left me feeling
inspired and amazed by the capabilities of animals.
Narrative Writing
It was a bright Saturday morning at the city zoo. The zoo was full of
visitors eager to see the new panda exhibit. Sarah, a young girl with a
love for animals, arrived early with her parents. She had been looking
forward to this day for weeks.
The story begins with Sarah standing in front of the panda enclosure, her
eyes wide with excitement. The zookeeper, Mr. Adams, welcomed
everyone and introduced the pandas, Mei and Tao. "Today, we have a
special treat," he announced. "Mei and Tao will show us their new trick."
Sarah watched intently as Mr. Adams placed a bamboo pole high above
the ground. Mei, the larger panda, climbed up the pole with surprising
agility. Tao followed, balancing carefully as he reached the top. The crowd
gasped in awe as the two pandas performed a series of flips and spins,
moving gracefully despite their size.
Sarah couldn’t believe her eyes. She had never seen pandas do anything
like this before. The trick ended with Mei and Tao sliding down the pole,
landing softly on the ground. The audience erupted in applause, cheering
for the talented pandas.
Mr. Adams then invited the children to come closer and meet the pandas.
Sarah's heart raced with excitement as she approached Mei and Tao. She
reached out and touched Mei’s soft fur, feeling a connection with the
gentle giant. "Thank you for the amazing show," she whispered.
The day ended with Sarah and her family taking a group photo with the
pandas, a memory she would cherish forever. As they left the zoo, Sarah
felt inspired and dreamed of one day working with animals just like Mr.
Adams.
