The movie Tuesdays with Morrie emphasizes the value of life lessons, love, and human
connection, as shared by Morrie Schwartz, a retired professor, and his former pupil, Mitch Albom.
It made me realize how important living is and how would you appreciate it. It taught me how true
fulfilment is and how you overcome all those challenges especially accepting death. Despite
Morrie's having a ALS his wisdom and perspective remain clear and impactful for me.
I realize how he gives advice to mitch and it also applies on me, how i appreciate the
present moment and spend the best of it. Before I watch the movie i did not give any meaningful
memories in my life, I thought successes were the key for happiness. However, Morrie's
perspective in life question my beliefs. His priority on the value of human connection, love, and
self-reflection taught me that these elements are more important than the professional or
financial achievement I had valued.
For example, when morrie talks about how important of accepting death as a natural part
of life. He encourages Mitch to stop fearing death and instead to embrace it as an essential part
of the human experience. He says,“Once you learn how to die, you learn how to live.”this
statement made me realize how powerful it is to accept your death so you live differently, and we
appreciate more the time we have and live more meaningfully.
In conclusion, Tuesday with Morrie give me a reminder how important life is, including the
relationship and mindfulness. Morrie's wisdom provides me a reflection on how i should live my
life, reminding us that the connections we establish and how we embrace our humanity are what
actually determine a fulfilling life.
