ABSTRACT

Mechatronics is a vital component of modern aerospace engineering, integrating

mechanical systems with electronics, control systems, and software to improve the
performance, safety, and automation of aircraft and spacecraft. Through technologies
like fly-by-wire controls, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and health monitoring
systems, mechatronics enhances real-time decision-making and operational efficiency.
Key components such as sensors, actuators, and controllers enable precise control and
coordination, contributing to safer and more reliable aerospace operations. As the field
advances, innovations in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and electric
propulsion will drive further automation and sustainability in aerospace, leading to more
efficient and environmentally friendly systems.
