Development Officer - Briefs/Orient PDL upon entry in jail regarding policies and regulations on welfare and development
program. Prepares a schedules of activities and list of PDL to undergo development for review by the chief Development
Unit.Facilitates the different acctivities within his program of activities.

20. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE GENERAL FUNCTION OF THE POSITION (Job Summary)

Development Officer Implements, monitors and evaluate all the development programs such as; Counseling, Interfaith,Cultural,
and Sports Recreation, Educational, livelihood, TCMP, Skills Enhcancement, KKDK program and all other WD Programs.

Provide over-all security to all PDL by adhering to DO's and DON’T's in the
15 security and control of PDL so as to prevent escape

Provide security during movements of persons deprived of liberty (PDL) outside

Conduct body search, applies restraining devices and observes the DO's and FUNDAMENTAL AWARENESS
15 DON’T's in escorting of PDL.

15 Properly secure and account all keys and padlocks during the tour of duty.

10 Implements maintenance of good order and discipline of PDL.

10 Participates in the conduct of operation greyhound.
