Agriculture

-BT crops don’t allow certain necessary nutrients to be absorbed by its consumers.
-BT crops are specifically engineered to be toxic to insects, parasites, and other unwanted crop
consumers

50 percent of seed income outcome is controlled by 4 demonic organizations, and GMOs are
human made which means only small number of demonic organizations control most of the
seed industry, which means they can control what we eat, and how much price it is.
The seed industry is controlled by a few people, which means that control what we eat, and
what GMO we get. That can be dangerous, yet also power lurking because people might use
this power in a bad way. Mainly, just they get to make GMOs that are not healthy for money, or
they lie about if the food is GMO or not.
Bayer, Corteva, ChemChina and Limagrain — control more than 50% of the world's seeds.
These staggering monopolies dominate the global food supply. As seen here, we can say that
they can control what we eat, not what I want.

Fear and uncertainty

-No long-term feeding trials

-GMOs and non-GMOs reproduce to create new harmful species of crops

-DNA inserted through a bacterium or virus
-General population uncomfortable or scared of eating GMOs
- Pink pineapples, for example, were made unnecessarily attractive due to its heavenly
sweetness modified by human. Same thing with the glow in the dark rabbit. Scientists
transferred the jellyfish's genes into a rabbit's body, which makes the rabbit glow in the dark.
This does not benefit the rabbit at all, and is totally unnecessary. If they make an entirely new
species of glow in the dark rabbits, then this will make negative effects on the jellyfish and the
rabbits.
-Genetically modified organisms contaminate existing seeds with their altered material, passing
on modified traits to non-target species.
-According to the Organic Authority, there are many uncertainties of GMOs as well as hidden
allergies – the science of GMO is not perfectly done; it is using DNA and it's all unforeseen
territory so we don't know much about it yet. For example, many antibiotics such as
tetracycline was very commonly used in many countries about three decades ago, and later on
proven to have many side effects. This proves that it is impossible for us to predict what would
happen later on to GMOs.

Examples: According to National Geographic, “There's no genome that is completely

understood even in terms of the genes within it,” says Markus Covert from Stanford University.
This proves that there is too much uncertainty in developing GMOs.

Health
-Humans have a larger contribution to foods with GMOs compared to natural-grown, which
means that GMO foods are less natural.
-Can damage human health (Leads into issues such as allergic responses, toxicity, organ
damage, gene transfer and other side effects) because there are differences in the nutritional
content in GMO foods compared to non-GMO foods
(They may say: There wouldn't be any differences in the nutrition if you eat foods with GMOs
your entire life!

Rebuttal: Foods with GMOs have been around since the 1990s. Do you really think that
everyone is born after that time?)
Many health risks are related to GMOs. For example, according to recent data from shape.com,
85.2 percent of digestive problems are linked to GMOs, and 51.1% percent of mood problems
such as anxiety and depression are also related to GMOs. Those health issues can lead serious
problems such as death, which can affect our whole human population.

• Digestive problems 85.2%

• Fatigue 60.4%
• Overweight or obesity 54.6%
• Clouding of consciousness (brain fog) 51.7%
• Mood problems/anxiety/depression 51.1%
• Food allergies or sensitivities 50.2
• Memory and concentration 48.1%
• Joint pain 47.5%
• Seasonal allergies 46.6%
• Gluten sensitivities 42.2%

-Some experts worry that antibiotic-resistant genes may be absorbed into harmful bacteria
found in sewers on your gut that can cause serious illnesses like staph infections (caused by
bacteria, might cause infection if it enters the body through small cuts, might transmit to
others.)
-Concerns of GMO foods have raised, since genetically modified foods can negatively affect and
contaminate our diet

- A substance called glyphosate is present in genetically modified organisms. The healthy

bacteria in the stomach are disrupted, which results in a lot of harmful bacteria present.
- According to Procon.org, “there haven’t been any long-term clinical traits in humans to
determine whether GMO foods are safe." The testing time frame is too short to prove that
GMO foods are safe to eat. For example, some major health risks include toxicity, allergenicity,
and genetic hazards. And those unpredictable risks will cause abdominal pain and diarrhea skin
rashes to life-threatening issues.
- “higher levels of allergens in a host plant that contains known allergenic properties, and new
proteins created by the gene insertion that could cause allergic reactions.” Evidence from
World Health Organization and Food and Agriculture Organization. As I just said, GM crops pose
a significant threat to the health of humans and the environment due to global glyphosate
usage.
-GMOs can cause death. Doctors confirm that on January 15th, 2015, a man passed away, and
his death was an allergic reaction directly caused by genetically modified tomatoes that had
been altered with genes from fish. This is a serious problem because this specific death means
that there is a possibility of dying from eating GMO foods, and proves that foods with GMOs
are definitely not good for your health, therefore unsafe to eat.
-GMO foods are unlabeled in America. They are sneaky like this because there are no long-term
studies of how the GMO would affect the human bodies.

(They may say there are already GMO foods now on our plates. It is going to be okay to eat
the GMO foods.)

Rebuttal: We never know if it's okay to eat GMO foods even if people are already eating them
now. 10 years later, they might not be okay anymore and it's too late for people to do anything.
One other uncertainty is when you're passing on genes to your next generation. Maybe if you
eat GMO foods, you're going to be okay but you also never know what will happen to your
children. For example,
Also, many people are eating foods with GMOs because they have no choice. Some farmers
genetically modify food to make things to make their crops look good so that people will buy
them. In the present, it is very hard to tell if certain types of foods are genetically modified, and
we can't be sure if everything we eat is completely organic. Us already eating some of those
GMO foods, however, does not mean that eating foods with GMOs are safe and not the answer
for global food security. Farmers are only genetically modifying their crops for money, which
means that they have not considered the health and safety of their customers as much as they
should. This means that it is most definitely not okay to eat foods with GMO foods, even though
we may already eat those foods sometimes. Already doing something just means that it's over,
but it does not mean that we should keep eating genetically modified foods.
(They may say: How do you avoid GMO foods? They have already become a part of our lives,
and it's impossible to always eat organic food.)
I can't say that
But I can try

No don’t say it
Why?
Yeah, who cares
We can try

No one cares

Environment
- Chemical sprays – defense: there are no points for developing GMOs that protects the
environment while they require harmful chemicals for their adaptation. Wiping out
nature species through generations – defense: even though people could not let GMOs
into the nature, the food chain would still be unbalanced that the original species would
be overgrown due to the lacking of predators
- Destroys/disrupts nature; Plants and animals were born a certain way for a reason, and
there is no reason for us humans to change the way they are born just for our own
benefits.
- Spread of unexpected mutational disease
- Testing process, no, unnecessary sacrifice
- Roundup Ready seeds (popular GM variety or crops) are seeds that are resistant to the
herbicide glyphosate, then farmers can use large amounts of glyphosate which causes
dead zones throughout U.S. waterways

A high percentage of GM crops requires chemical sprays that are toxic to the soil and
atmosphere. According to ProCon.org, GM crops are not as adapted as the natural crops are to
wild conditions. So, if you want to produce more, you won’t be able to afford so many labs and
indoor fields, and that means special sprays are required for the ones that has problem with
living the wild conditions.

For example: banana – too sweet – bugs – requires spray that harms the surroundings

However, this will cause the soil to die out and became less nutritious, so there would be no
point of inventing better GMOs that ironically require massive sacrifices, especially with such
serious problem with the soil and the air the we breathe in.

Animals
(Write how it harms an animal, but don't say that it's animal abuse since you're not beating
them up or physically hurting them. Just say that we are using animals for the benefits of
humans, and that disrupts the nature of those animals. Us humans are one type of living
organism and animals are another, so there is no reason why humans should use those animals
for our own benefits.)
- Animals have been genetically engineered to have their organs suitable for transplantation
but as we know, many diseases come from animals
- Even though genetic scientists promise that GMO animals won’t escape and affect the
environment but still some animals still might escape, and some of the have human genes in
them

- some pigs contain human growth genes but they are more likely to get diseases and die
