UNREVEALING SAJIDA'S
PSYCHOLOGICAL TRAITS

ASSIGNMENT
L E T ’ S E X P L O R E H E R

By Rizwan
ASSIGNED BY
SIR SHAHNAWAZ UNER
INTRODUCTION
This assignment is written by Rizwan and assigned by Sir ShaHNawaz
Uner. I'm writing this not to judge, criticize, or hurt this person.
However, the only purpose of this assignment is whether she retains
such traits psychologically or not. With the introduction, she is named
Sajida D/O Shafi Muhammad. She is 17 and in xii class. Since childhood
we've been living together, we have shared the same family, home,
meals, school, and even the same class hence being pretty close to
her I have sufficient knowledge regarding this person, therefore, it
seems right to me to choose her.
I hope you will enjoy reading about her journey. Let’s start

Q:1- What is maturity according to you?

ANS: Maturity is understanding the circumstances, dealing with hot
potatoes, and knowing right and wrong. It comes from experiencing new
things, being social, one's surroundings, compromising in tough situations,
education, and so on.

Q:2- Have you ever thought about what signs of maturity look like?
What do you think some of those signs could be?"
Ans: I have personally never thought about them but if I have to answer I'd
say: behavior, attitude, ethics, ability of understanding and compromising,
etc.

Q:3- What do you think you possess these signs?

Ans: At some extent, I do possess. I try to improve these signs in order to
be mature enough. However, sometimes it becomes too difficult for me to
manage the situation and have control on myself hence I freak out. I try not
to yell at anyone but if I see, there is not my fault in any situation despite
someone barks up this wrong tree that drives me crazy and I lose control of
myself.

1
Q:4- How do you usually handle challenges or setbacks and do you
have any strategies that help you bounce back?
ANS: Well, it is quite difficult to explain it in words because my emotions
get triggered and I just lose control on things. However, not every time it
happens. I generally observe the challenge like what sort of challenge I
encounter and deal with it in my way. Sometimes I only become silent and
let everything in Almighty Allah's hand because he is the best handler.
Moreover, I personally do not retain any strategies that help me but
patience ans silence always help me go in the right direction.

Q:5- When faced with a tough decision, do you tend to look at things
from different perspectives before choosing a path?
ANS: I try to listen to other's perspectives and think about them.
Nonetheless, I only do whatever I think is right for me others' opinions do
not matter to me then because when I think about other's opinions and my
personal opinions I become perplexed, and then it becomes a backbreaker
for me to go for the right thing hence I try to listen to only myself.

Q:6- How important is it for you to stay optimistic, even when things
don’t go as planned?
ANS: It is the element I barely possess because sometimes when things
don't go how I expect, I try to be patient. However, even after being patient
things don't work out I lose hope, start getting pessimistic thoughts, and
never think of doing something familiar. Nevertheless, I should possess this
element in myself and I have been working on it because it is the only thing
that arises hope, belief, and trust in us.

Q:7- Do you think it’s essential to be able to compromise and adapt, or

do you prefer sticking to your plans?
ANS: As I mentioned earlier, I try to have a look at others' perspectives, try
to fathom things, and try to compromise as much as I can but eventually I
only stick to my plans whatever I think is right, I go in that direction others
perspectives, whatever they think about me do never matter to me then.

2
Q:8- How would you describe emotions? Do they help you through
life, or do they end up making things more complicated?
ANS: Emotions include our anger, happiness, sadness, behavior, feelings,
and sentiments. Emotions are a fundamental part of the human being how
we talk, how we feel, how behave, and so on. Those are the emotions that
let us feel the things that raise the sentiments in us. Moreover, sometimes
they do help me when I look at things from both sides which surely helps
me out. However, sometimes they make it complicated for me to see things
from both hands due to my anger.

Q:9- In your opinion, what do you think how to control them?

ANS: Well, this could be a little difficult one. Having control on one's
emotions needs lots of guts and compromise. We can control our emotions
by changing our thoughts and being optimistic. When we let negative
thoughts make us overwhelmed our emotions start having control over us.
Sometimes we are triggered by our emotions when things do not go as we
plan and that results in numerous consequences hence we need to stay
positive in every situation to have control on emotions.

Q:10- Do you have control on your emotions?

ANS: I do have but not as I must have. Whenever things do not go as I think,
I lose control on my emotions and start crying. For instance; If I need
something very important from my family, but I do not get that even after
asking them lots of time. Afterward, I start crying, being crossed with
everyone, and yelling at others so that proves how much control I have
over my emotions.

Q:11- Is understanding emotional maturity important for having

control over emotions?
ANS: It could be. However, many people do not even know about it despite
they have very adequate control over their emotions because they
experience situations that make them control their emotions. Sometimes
what we think doesn't occur and that is the very situation where we get the
opportunity to have control on our emotions and a great number of people
deal with that situation calmly without knowing about emotional maturity.
3
Q:12- How would you define emotional maturity in your own words?
ANS: In my opinion, emotional maturity is understanding the emotions,
feelings, and sentiments. When we understand how our emotions work, we
start having control on them, we barely let them trigger us, and most
importantly our potential to compromise in tough situations increases.

Q:13- Do you think emotional maturity is something that naturally

comes with age, or does it require intentional work?
ANS: Emotional maturity comes with age as well as with experience but
firstly it comes with experiences. When you get responsibilities at a young
age, such things happen that make you able to be emotionally mature at a
young age. Though it also comes with age because you cannot experience
things overnight, with the passage of time, you encounter different people
and dilemmas that help you to be mature enough.

Q:14- How have you become mature by experiencing things or with

time?
ANS: In my case, I believe I have become mature by experiencing over time.
The things that I have been facing in my life whatever happens in my family
have helped me to be mature enough in the past 2 years. Before that, I was
not as I am today and I'm quite satisfied with it that such things have
helped me to be mature.

Q:15- How would you describe your ability to recognize and

understand your own emotions? Do you notice how they impact your
work and relationships?
ANS: There are situations that assist me in understanding my emotions.
For instance: If I get angry, I'm sure, there's a reason behind it so whenever
I encounter identical situations that helps me a lot. Furthermore,
Whenever I do my work, study, or gossip with any family member, I try to
observe but sometimes I just don't care when there is too much to handle
that's how I understand my emotions.

4
Q:16- What do you think what are your strengths and weaknesses?
ANS: Honestly, I have never thought about them. However, I feel that my
strengths could be gossiping with my sisters, self-discipline, resilience,
sympathy, my mother, and so on. My weaknesses could be Sensitivity,
communication gap with my elders, lack of confidence, lack of patience,
not being positive when things don't work, and so on.

Q:17- Do you have any personal values or principles that guide you
when you are disappointed?
ANS: Whenever things don't go as planned I try to engage my mind in other
things like using my cellphone, watching TV, or any other activity because if
I don't do that, I always get negative thoughts that overwhelm me so I try
my level best to avoid.

Q:18- What about your surroundings do they affect you?

ANS: As you know we all have good and bad surroundings that profoundly
affect us a lot. The ball is in your court on how you balance your life and let
your surroundings influence you. I do have good surroundings. I was raised
in a very good family where I was nourished nicely. Since childhood, I have
had good surroundings and that has helped me grow in my life. Moreover,
sometimes those surroundings also influence you dreadfully and you don't
even realize but you learn. Likewise, my surroundings also influence me
badly once in a while. However, I try to learn.

Q:19- What do you think motivates you more personal achievements

or be in a supportive social environment?
ANS: I do not have many personal achievements. Still, there is a lot to
come therefore I believe the environment motivates me at some level.
Whenever I'm engaged in an environment where I feel secure, share my
things, and ask for help. It encourages me to pursue my achievements as
well as external traits.

5
Q:20- What about others when someone around you is upset and
how do you generally feel?
ANS: I certainly feel sorry for them, feel the same, and put myself in their
shoes because we all are human beings. We all are interconnected at some
level we feel the other's pain as well when they are upset likewise it
happens to me whenever someone from my friends or family is
disappointed, I start feeling the same thing as well.

Q:21- When someone is going through a tough time, do you try to help,
or do you prefer to give them space?
ANS: I hardly ask them the reason behind what they go through or need
help because I try to give them space to deal with their mess themselves. I
know we should probably ask them that might help others but it seems
right to me to give them some space, I don't even bother to ask them but I
do feel the same thing inside.

Q:22- Are you a socializing person or you try to avoid people around
you?
ANS: Since childhood, I have been an introverted person. I try to avoid
people because I'm not into them. Sometimes people break your trust and
you stop trusting the ones who can never break it but you can't control it
so likewise I readily trusted the close ones which made me an introverted
person eventually.

Q:23- How comfortable are you with starting conversations or keeping

them going? Do you make eye contact when talking?
ANS: As I mentioned, I'm an introverted person so I hardly have
conversations with different people. However, whenever I have a
conversation with my family members or my friends I try to be attentive if
only it is important otherwise I engage myself in cellphone and don't even
realize what is going on around me.

6
Q:24- How would you describe your idea of “who you are”? Do you
think past experiences have helped you to know this?
ANS: Honestly, I have never thought of this but the term "Who I am" is not
just shaped only by me. There are lots of people and experiences behind it.
I have faced such things in my family and in my friend cycle that made me
silent and allowed me to discover myself. I know a bit of myself due to the
experience. However, still I've been in quest of defining myself. It might
take a whole life to discover who exactly I am but I have been trying.

Q:25- Are there certain people in your life who have had a big impact
on how you see yourself and how have they influenced you?
ANS: Of course! Numerous people inspire me every day. Their learning
process, lifestyle, their experiences, and so on. People like Ehsan, you, my
mother, one of my besties NOOR, also my teachers, and a great number of
other people encourage me and their lifestyles, learning process, ability of
dealing with tough situations inspire me to keep going with the
improvements.

Q:26- How do you make learning more interesting?

ANS: Since childhood, it has been pretty hard for me to be quite serious
with my study. I do not have any particular strategies to make my learning
interesting but there are surely some things that I try. For instance: If I
learn anything in class but I don't understand, I shall give time to it at
home, learn it on Youtube from different channels. Moreover, I try to read
books to learn something new which helps me to fancy in my learning
process.

Q:27- Do you have a thirst for knowledge or you want to be limited?

ANS: I try to enhance my knowledge as much as I can. However, sometimes
procrastination does not let me go for different things to research about. I
have a thirst for it but I don't have a particular way to increase it. I try to
read books but not a lot. Reading books and listening to others, somehow,
help me in developing my knowledge.

7
Q:28- What do you think what creativity is and do you see it as a
natural talent, or a learned skill?
ANS: I guess, creativity is a learned skill. Initially, we don't exactly know
anything to create so we try to see others or learn to create anything. We
learn by seeing others and experiencing new people, areas, and things that
assist us at some level to be creative in different things.

Q:29- How do you see yourself as a creative person or do you try to

copy others?
ANS: I feel I'm kind of a creative person. There is one thing that makes me
feel creative that is creating videos. I have seen other people as well but I
try not to copy them and try to use my noodles to go with my ideas and
create something different from others.

Q:30- Do you beleive your life is worse than others? If so, why? If not,
why?
ANS: We know we all feel this that our lives are worse than others. It
happens to everyone and I also feel the same way. I believe my life is quite
worse than others because If I have a look back at my life, I have almost
wasted my time without taking actions for myself so that always makes me
feel my life is far worse than others and can be better.

Q:31- Assume you are given a chance to choose a life to live what kind
of life will you choose a better one or this one?
ANS: I would rather prefer a better one to my one. There are some reasons
behind choosing it. I want a life in which everything is perfect like there
should not be worries, tensions, dilemmas, and pessimistic things that
make the life too difficult to live hence If I ever get a chance to choose, I
shall choose a better one over mine. However, I know it's just what I want
but it can never be in reality....

8
CONCLUSION
By concluding all those questions, I have come to know numerous
things about this person that I never knew before. In my opinion, she
still needs lots of improvements in her life such as balance, control,
socialism, and many basic traits. Somehow she has been trying to
bring changes in her life and she has accomplished relatively.
However, still there is a lot to come. Furthermore, she is not truly
satisfied with her life because when things don't go as she plans that
drives her crazy. She starts believing in hopelessness, only listens to
herself which has a huge negative impact on her life. She believes she
is kind of a complicated mystery that she has been trying to figure
out. She mentions she has only come to know about some things from
her family, friends, teachers, and surroundings that give her hope to
enjoy her life.
I believe you enjoyed reading about her journey. Thank you
