Partial Surface Contact Error: EMPE (µm)

Description: This error occurs when the measuring surfaces of the caliper do not make full contact with the object being measured.

Solution: Ensure that the measuring surfaces are clean and properly aligned with the object. Regularly check and calibrate the caliper to main-
tain accuracy.

Shift Error: SMPE (µm)

Description: This error occurs when there is a discrepancy between the scale reading and the actual measurement due to misalignment or
wear.

Solution: Regularly calibrate the caliper and check for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure that the caliper is properly aligned during measure-
ments.

Line Contact Error:

Description: This error occurs when the measuring surfaces of the caliper make contact along a line rather than a point or surface, leading to in-
accurate measurements.
