Final Project

For the final project of this block, you are required to make a 3 minutes
audio about meeting a new friend using some of the language functions
learned previously. Your performance needs to be a dialogue that includes
the following:

• Statements, Yes/No, and information questions with the verb to be in present


and in past.
• Affirmative, negative and interrogative (Yes/No and Wh- Questions)
sentences in Simple Present Tense and Simple Past Tense, Present
Progressive, Going to, and the modal can/can’t
• Hobbies
• Family
• Personal interests
• Job/school
• Ordinal numbers
• Object Pronouns

Write on a Word document your dialogue and rehearse it with your partner before
you record yourselves. Remember you can ask your facilitator if you have doubts
(grammar, lexis or pronunciation).

Addie: Hello Danna, is really nice to see you again!

Diana: Hi Addie, I didn’t see you since high school.

Addie: Yea, I tried to call you but the number was incorrect.

Diana: Yes, I changed my number. You should take a note to save it.

Addie: Of course, what is your number?

Diana: Is 5381753920

Addie: Mmmm I can´t save it on my cellphone.

Diana: Don’t problem, tell me what is your number?

Addie: My number is 6481736493.

Diana: Okay, I am calling you.

Addie: Thank I am already saving you in my contacts.

Diana: It is a long time since we last saw each other.

Addie: Oh my God, that´s true. I can´t remember when our last talk was. Tell me, where do you live?

Diana: I am living in Torreon but the next year I will move to Monterrey. And you? Are you working in Sanatorio Español?

Addie: That´s sounds amazing, I Heard Monterrey is in the top five best cities to work. No, I no longer work in Sanatorio
Español. Now, I am working in Peñoles.

Diana: I am so proud of you. I remember when we were girls our dream was to be successful women and now is a reality.

Addie: Yea, I remember too. Tell me a Little about yourself. We have grown and change. Do you like soccer?

Diana: No, I don´t like soccer. I prefer the art. I am going to take a course the next year in Bellas Artes. Do you like the art?

Addie: Yes, I like the art sometimes I go to the theater. But sincerely, the soccer is my passion.

Diana: Do you have boyfriend?

Addie: Yes, I have boyfriend. His name is Omar and we are going to get married the next year.

Diana: Congratulations, he will very lucky to marry you.

Addie: Do you have boyfriend?

Diana: No, I don’t have boyfriend, I am focus in my carrier.

Addie: Are you studying?

Diana: Yes, I am studying a master´s degree. In two years, I will graduate.

Addie: Where do you study?

Diana: I am studying at Iberoamericana university.

Addie: I am going to study next year after I get married.

Diana: Next year going to be a year of many challenge.

Addie: What about your parents?

Diana: My mom has a restaurant. My mom´s restaurant is her passion.

Addie: And what about your father?

Diana: My father is working as a photographer. He loves him.

Addie: I love your family.

Diana: Oh my God, look what time it is, it´s very late.

Addie: Jesus cries, I am going to be late for my work.

Diana: I was very pleased to see you. Call me please.

Addie: Yes, I will call you soon.

Addie Diana: bye

Record your voice and save it in a file you can upload in the platform. Be careful it
most be compatible so that your facilitator can unload it.
