ITEM 1
Nissi high school has organized inter house competition tournament amongst the 4
houses of Dr Obote, Mandela house, petero house and Ronald house. The head
teacher had provided 200000 to the games and sports teacher to share amongst 4
houses as follows;
There were 4 games to participate in and the houses performance where as shown
below;

ITEM 2
The north eastern Uganda is a dry area that is always affected by drought. As a result of
drought in 2023, the famine broke out but the government of Uganda under local
government wanted to provide iris potatoes to the members in the region to solve the
problem of hunger
Support;
Each package contains an equal number of five
There are ten households in the community with 3, 5, 7,4,6,5,8,12,13,9 members
respectively
Task;
a) Determine the number of packages of iris potatoes the government will take to
the community
b) In case there are remaining potatoes, discuss what the government can do with
them.
ITEM 3
Akia primary school has two section i.e. lower primary [P.1 to P.4] and the upper
primary from [P.5 to P.7].the director of studies needs to draw a time table for both
sections. The two sections should start and end the morning lessons at the same time
before break, start and end their break at the same time. Then after break, lessons
starts at the same time. The lunch break for both sessions starts at the same time
SUPPORT;
The time for the two sessions to start is 8:00am. The duration of the lessons
for the lower session is 30 mins and that of upper primary is 40 mins
Task;
a) Help the DOS by drawing the time table up to lunch for the two sessions
b) How many lessons does each session have up to lunch
