Abstract
The Data Analytics Process Automation Virtual Internship offers a hands-on and
immersive experience in the dynamic field of data analytics and process automation.
Participants engage in real-world projects, applying data-driven methodologies to extract
insights, streamline processes, and drive informed decision-making. Through virtual
simulations and interactive modules, interns gain proficiency in utilizing cutting-edge
analytics tools and automation technologies.
This internship equips participants with practical skills in data manipulation,
visualization, and automation scripting, fostering a deep understanding of end-to-end data
analysis workflows. It provides a valuable opportunity to enhance problem-solving abilities,
critical thinking, and collaboration within a virtual work environment. Ultimately,
participants emerge with a comprehensive understanding of the data analytics and automation

In the Data Analytics Process Automation Virtual Internship, I leverage Alteryx
Designer Tools Software. Tasks include efficient data exploration and quality assurance
through Alteryx cleaning processes. Statistical analysis, visualization, and machine learning
are seamlessly executed within Alteryx. Process automation is streamlined with Alteryx's
workflow design. Collaborative projects thrive using the software, enhancing teamwork.
Alteryx's intuitive interface facilitates problem-solving and communication. Agile
methodologies guide project management, emphasizing continuous improvement through
Alteryx's feedback and iteration features. This immersive experience provides a practical
understanding of data analytics and automation through Alteryx Designer Tools Software

Training Internships in order to receive real world experience and develop their skills.
An objective for this position should emphasize the skills you already possess in the area
and your interest in learning more.
Internships are utilized in a number of different career fields, including architecture,
engineering, healthcare, economics, advertising and many more.
Some internship is used to allow individuals to perform scientific research while others
are specifically designed to allow people to gain first-hand experience working.

Module-1
Getting Started
In this module, Designer Basics like what is data, using designer, benefits of designer,
first steps in designer, working with your data and also solving in designer.
The mentioned concepts are covered in this module.
This module also gives Introduction on Alteryx Designer Software and its setup.
Working with the workflow in Designer Software for Data Analysing. It also provided a
hands-on experience for initially taking of input data and viewing the data.
From this module, I learnt that how an input data can be entered and inputting the data
into my workflow using the tools provided by the Alteryx Designer Software.

Module-2
Data Preparation
This module provides the information on the Data Preparation. There are four sub-
modules and one practice exercise available in this module. They are
1) Formatting Data
2) Sorting Data
3) Filtering Data
4) Sampling Data.
From this module, I learnt that how a data can be Formatted, Sorted, Filtered and
Sampled using the tools provided by the Alteryx Designer Software.
In this module there is a practice Exercise 1, which gives a hands-on experience by
creating a workflow using the tools like format, filter, sorting, etc.

Module-3
Combining and Cleansing Data
This module provided the Basic Data Combining and Cleansing concepts. There are
five sub-modules and one practice exercise in this module. They are:
1) Foundational Articles
2) Separating Data
3) Removing Duplicates
4) Blending Data
5) Joining Data.
From this module, I learnt that how a data can be Separated, Removal of Duplicates,
Blending and Joining using the tools provided by the Alteryx Designer Software.

This module contains another practice exercise called as Practice Exercise 2 and its
declaration towards my submission.
This module contains a quiz program which is provided with 40 questions in a time
span of 60minutes and named as Alteryx Foundation Micro-Credential. After completion of
this quiz with 80.5%, I got a badge, certificate and my exam result to my mail.

Core Topics
This module provides a clear path to Core Certification. It consists of 6 sub-modules
and one practice exercise. They are:
1) Data in the cloud
2) Date Time
3) Rows vs Columns
4) Functions
5) Expressions
6) Summarizing Data.
This module gives information in detail that how the formats of Date Time can be
arranged, Functions like Summations, Selecting, Sorting, Summarize, etc.

Continuing Core Topics
This module is the continuation module for the Core Topics Module. In Core Topics
Module, I learnt about Functions, Expressions, Summarization, etc. But in this module, I
learnt and this module provided about the Transforming my Dataset.
In this module, there are four sub-modules, one practice exercise and one project also.
They are
1) Changing Data Layouts
2) VLookups (Find Replace Tool)
3) Append Fields
4) Writing Data

From this module, I learnt how to change the layout of the data like from rows to
columns & columns to rows, usage of Replace, Append Fields Tools and Output Data Tool.
In this module, I got a clear idea about the Output Data and a complete workflow design.
As I informed that this module contains one project which is named as Capstone
Project. When my path reached to this project, my almost course get ready for completion.
This project was very useful to me in order to present my skills which I learned until there. I
applied my skills I learnt to complete a final Capstone Project.

Module-6
Designer Core Prep

This is the final module which is named as Designer Core Prep, which provides
complete preparation guide for the Alteryx Designer Core Certification. There are three sub-
modules in this module. They are
1) Weekly Challenges
2) Prep Guide
3) Get Certified
In this module, there are fifteen weekly challenges which improves the great practice
on the skills that I learned in this course. This also provided the guidance to the Core
Certificate. This module contains the main exam.
The Weekly Challenges covered the entire concepts, tools used in the Alteryx
Designer Software and increased my workflow design on the process for Data Analytics.
In the prep guide there are two options while getting the preparation for the Core
Certification.

I completed an exam called Alteryx Designer Core which contains 80 questions with
2 hours 30 minutes of time. This certification is the main certificate to complete my entire
internship. By attending the certification exam, I achieved 75.4% and a badge.

Data Analytics Process Automation Virtual Internship provided a comprehensive

practical projects and exposure to tools like Alteryx, I gained hands-on experience in

Software Requirement Specification:
Data Analytics Process Automation Virtual Internship requires a computer with
internet access, supporting Windows, macOS, or Linux. Utilizing Alteryx Designer Software
(version 2023.1), participants engage in comprehensive data analytics and automation
workflows.
Basic SQL knowledge is recommended. Collaborative tools include GitHub, and the
Learning Management System (LMS) is essential for communication.

Conclusion:
