Sekaikei
Tsunami/Nam
When a new game hits the streets of Japan a insecure/ overcompensating gamer wants
to be the most popular player to ever touch the sticks but at what cost? As an
impending virtual apocalypse looms on the horizon he believes it’s his moment to
solidify his importance .
Nobody’s perfect do what you can and be happy with yourself because that’s all hat
matters in the end
A young man odysseus through heaven (the game) and hell (real life) as he attempts
to save the world
You should never go about life concerned about what others think or believe
But instead find it within yourself your reason for doing what you do
Psycho - nam learns that he can do anything he sets his mind too; flawlessly. As
long as she believes in himself and does not concern herself with the opinions of
others and rely on their help. And ultimately it’s not that deep. It takes the
tremendous task of saving the world to make him realize this. The irony of taking
on a selfish task for such selfish reasons.
Moral- he must learn how to control his insecurities and frustrations
Desire- he feels as though he must save the world because it’s the right thing to
do and people will praise her for it when in all actuality she has to become less
selfish than that
Main Opponent
The opposition is the omnipotent game designer “Taco” that takes on the form of
anything in the game to oppose Nam tapping into his weaknesses and inner fears to
keep him progressing at a pace only he sees fit.
Both want the approval and praise of others.
he wants to please his daughter ingrained in the fabric of the game while punishing
the world in the process . While Nam believes the love of the world is more
important than to loved and remembered by those who truly love you
He believes that the opinions of others reflect who you are as a person and your
legacy as a whole
and Nam cares too much about what the dark web weirdos think
Ultimately holding her back from her true potential
He believes that he can be god and create his own heaven and use the souls he
collects from his game to power it
Nam believes that no soul should serve as a battery for his game
Fake Ally Opponent 2
“Penny” is a player she meets at the beginning of her time playing the game a
mission that subsequently allowed Nai to save her and penny swearing her
companionship and loyalty to her
Unbeknownst to Nai she is an NPC and the game Directors daughter who is the one
actually in control of the entire game. She is incapable of giving two shits about
what anyone says about her but Nam
Fake Opponent 3
Nam’s sister not being there for him while in an abusive relationship and seeks
validation from her lover and Nam as she does the best she can to juggle both.
Fourth Opponent
The the love she gets from the world both from the stream, LAN tourneys and her
first few appearances in the spotlight is good but then it turns into hate as the
game director puts a bounty on her head and those same people now want the
attention of being the one who took down the first player in this world dwindling
down her 25 lives and receiving that sweet in game loot
Fifth Opponent
Then it’s “Dimes” and the soul clan that griefs her in game and threatens and
trolls her outside the game they do it for the approval of the game director
Ally
“2cents” transports her everywhere she needs to go through a “fast travel” taxi he
talks to her and drops knowledge and insight on her despite going against his code
and the game directors wishes
Horror
The outside world is in panic. Days become progressively hotter scientists can’t
tell whether or not we are drifting closer to the sun or something else entirely is
going on.
the release of this game has sent most gamers into a frenzy to get there hands on
it, but others to stay away. Followed by the mysterious disappearances of many who
boot up the game it still lures in masses to check out the latest streamer to dare
play.
All while in game Nam has only 25 lives to burn through through his quest to finish
the game coupled with all the other obstacles in his way
Nam can’t swim
And the world of the game is occupied of about 85 percent water.
This should be interesting
