The project plan
App markets have become increasingly competitive and businesses are finding it challenging to
survive in a sea of competition.. With different types of business apps being downloaded by
users of different business organizations and their number also increasing at a significant rate,
companies are turning to mobile apps to get more customers to interact with their brand (Bansal
and Shetty, 2022). It has become increasingly important to have an advanced strategy and
successful app launch to compete in this competitive landscape (Alhajri, Salehi Shahraki and
Rudolph, 2022). There are many things to consider when creating, designing, and launching a
business app. The Astra PLC company project plan will be discussed here. Astra PLC the
company plans to launch its health and fitness app in the market: Conduct Market Research, Test
Prototypes with Potential Users, Implement In-App Analytics, Provide an In-App Feedback
Channel, Conduct Beta Testing, Set a Launch Date, Develop a Marketing Plan, Create
Promotional Videos, Review Official Submission Checklists, Launch the App

Project scope
App design and launch cost: App design refers to an ongoing process that combines user
experience and user interface (UI) elements. This app is designed in a way that will define the
solution, the colour, flow, and structure of this app is designed in a way that users will like in a
stylistic way. These health and fitness apps are usually chosen based on user research and
feedback. This app is beautiful to look at and easy to use (Bond et al., 2022). The majority of
people use different apps as part of their activities. It will cost 00 10000 to launch this app.
Social media integration: Integrating social media into app development is easy to achieve, one
of the specific steps here is to include clearly visible click-to-purchase (CTP) social media
buttons in the app so that users can view them and share posts directly from the app(Das,
Rastogi, and Kumar, 2022). The app is integrated with social media feeds so users can get
involved and see their friends making purchases using the app.
Customization: This health and fitness app customization involves moving certain items around
an interface to reflect users' preferences, selecting customer or user interests, changing colours,
and other things related to the visual design of an interface so that users can purchase. Interest
awakens.
Testing: There are some important steps to take before launching this health and fitness app.
Beta testing is one of them (Kim, 2022). In today's competitive global market, beta testing is an
important step before launching a health and fitness app. The main goal of the beta test is to gain
real-world experience.
Launch your app: Creating an app requires planning, testing, design, and more. Finally the app
is ready to launch (Mathisen et al.). First, you need to upload the file of this app to Google Play
Store. You also need to promote the app through various advertisements. You also need to
evaluate the importance of marketing. Users can easily get the app if the app is effectively
marketed.
7
Project risk
Cost overrun of the project: Increasing costs, also known as budget overrun, involves
spending unexpectedly. The cost of launching an app is estimated to be more than the amount
spent here. These costs are called cost overruns (Narrillos-Moraza et al,. 2022). Cost overruns
result in project risk. There are obstacles to the success of the project. The cost of launching an
app is more than the current budget.
Delay In app design: When outsourcing the launch of an app, the biggest challenge for a
project manager is to meet the project deadlines and track the project at all times so that app
lunching does not have a bad impact. Reasons why a project may be delayed, such as not setting
the right expectations from the start of the project, miscommunication or poor communication
between the team and the client.
Design and compatibility: Design is the design or level specification for the construction of an
object or system, the implementation of a process, the completion of a sample object, product or
process (Sobieraj and Metelski, 2022.). The design includes some things that are fundamentally
flawed, inefficient, and inefficient, below the quality of the client. If the design of the apps is
weak then the design may present itself as functional error or hindrance to development which
hinders the progress of the project. Compatibility means something changes according to
something else.
Competition from other apps: Astra PLC if the company launches the health and fitness app in
the market, then it will have to compete with the existing apps in the market. And the existing
apps have survived by competing with each other in the market. So the existing apps will be able
to sustain themselves in any situation of the market..
8
Project Success
Retention rate: The retention rate can be imagined as the 'glue' of a company's digital product.
Specifies the percentage of customers a company's app can successfully retain. Measuring
retention rates allows a company to clearly see how many customers it is losing to churn out
customers or to determine why users aren't around.
Daily active user: The Company’s app, which chooses a method that measures daily active
users, determines the number of people who have downloaded it (Sun, Jiang and Huang, 2022.).
Here, using an app instead of the number of sessions refers to each person
Cost per acquisition: The cost of each company's apps is closely linked to the ROI per
acquisition (Yin et al., 2022). Throughout the life cycle of an apps project, market-wise
companies determine the cost of a new app - then they know how much this cost exceeds the
initial budget and if the cost is high they will want to stay on top of existing apps without
launching new apps.
The average revenue per user: The average per capita income of a user involves calculating the
current lifetime value gained after the launch of a company's app or software product. A
company can do this by dividing the total revenue of its app by the number of its existing users
over time (Zhu, 2022). By calculating the average revenue per user of a company's app, it can
continuously track the progress of the annual growth as well as compare the success of its app
against the competitors.

Conclusion
In conclusion, highlighted app markets have become increasingly competitive and businesses are
finding it challenging to survive in a sea of competition. A comprehensive app launch strategy
needs to be used to pave the way for a successful app launch and to occupy a fruitful position in
the app marketplace. App design refers to an ongoing process that combines user experience and
user interface (UI) elements. The retention rate can be imagined as the 'glue' of a company's
