III. Bài mẫu

1. Do you work or are you a student?
- Band 6.0: I am currently a student. I'm studying at university, and my main
focus is on completing my degree.
- Band 7.5: I’m currently a full-time student at university, pursuing a degree in
business administration. I’m really enjoying the academic environment, as it
gives me the opportunity to explore various subjects related to the field of
business, such as economics, marketing, and management.
2. What do you study?
- Band 6.0: I am studying business administration. This involves learning about
management, finance, marketing, and economics. I find it interesting because
it covers a wide range of topics, and it helps me understand how companies
operate.
- Band 7.5: I study business administration, which covers a broad spectrum of
topics like marketing, finance, human resources, and organizational behavior.
It’s a versatile field that equips me with practical knowledge applicable to
many industries, and it’s something I’m passionate about because I’m
interested in how businesses operate and grow.
3. What do you find most interesting about your studies? (Why?)
- Band 6.0: The most interesting part of my studies is learning about marketing
strategies. I find it fascinating because it shows how companies attract and
keep customers. I like the idea of influencing people’s decisions through
advertisements or promotions, which is really creative.
- Band 7.5: The most interesting part of my studies is definitely marketing. I’m
fascinated by how companies develop strategies to reach and influence their
target audiences. The psychology behind consumer behavior is really
captivating, and I enjoy learning about different techniques, such as digital
marketing and branding, that businesses use to stand out in a competitive
market.
4. Which is more important to you—the teachers or the other students on your
course? (Why?)
- Band 6.0: Both are important, but I think the teachers are a bit more important
because they provide us with knowledge and guide us throughout our course.
They help explain difficult concepts and give us advice, which is essential for
understanding the subject well. However, other students are also helpful,
especially for group discussions or projects.
- Band 7.5: While both are important, I would say that my teachers are slightly
more essential. They provide us with the theoretical foundation and practical
insights, which are crucial for understanding complex concepts. Their
expertise helps me develop a deeper understanding of the subject. However,
interacting with other students is also valuable because it allows me to gain
different perspectives, particularly during group discussions or collaborative
projects.
5. How much time do you spend studying every week?
- Band 6.0: I usually spend around 20 to 25 hours studying each week. This
includes attending lectures, completing assignments, and preparing for
exams. It depends on the workload, but I try to manage my time efficiently.
- Band 7.5: On average, I spend around 25 to 30 hours per week on my
studies. This includes attending lectures, doing research, completing
assignments, and preparing for exams. Some weeks require more time,
especially if I have upcoming deadlines or exams, but I try to stay organized
and spread out my workload so that I don’t feel overwhelmed.
6. How do you usually travel to the city where you study?
- Band 6.0: I usually travel by bus. It’s convenient and affordable for me. The
journey takes about 30 minutes, so it’s not too long, and I can use the time to
review my notes or relax before class.
- Band 7.5: I usually travel by train to the city where I study. It’s quite
convenient and relatively quick, taking around 40 minutes. I like this method of
transport because it gives me time to read or catch up on my studies before I
arrive at campus. Plus, the train is quite comfortable, so it’s a stress-free way
to commute.
7. Do you study best in the morning or the afternoon? (Why?)
- Band 6.0: I study best in the morning. I feel more focused and energetic after
a good night’s sleep, so it’s easier for me to concentrate. In the afternoon, I
tend to get a bit tired, which makes studying more difficult.
- Band 7.5: I study best in the morning, as I feel that I’m most alert and
productive after a good night’s sleep. I can focus better on complex tasks, and
I find that I retain information more easily at that time. By the afternoon, I tend
to feel a bit fatigued, so I use that time for lighter tasks, like reviewing notes or
preparing for upcoming classes.
