We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Data Science Lead to play a pivotal role in building and
leading a cutting-edge data science team within our global technology organization. In this role, you will be
responsible for setting up and scaling the team, collaborating with product teams to enable AI capabilities,
and bridging competency gaps across the organization. You will also enhance our analytics platform to
address both current and emerging Generative AI needs. As the owner of the data science practice, you
will oversee the end-to-end process of model evaluation, deployment, and life cycle management, while
working toward offering GenAI as a service. Additionally, you will collaborate with strategic partners and
SaaS vendors to create innovative, data-powered business solutions. This role demands a visionary
leader with a passion for innovation, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of how data science
and AI can drive business transformation.
Details
Making an Impact • Lead a global role that spans diverse business areas, brands, and
geographies, ensuring the infusion of AI, GenAI, and data science
capabilities into our products and applications to drive transformative
business outcomes across the organization.
• Build and manage a high-performing data science team that delivers
production-ready AI and GenAI solutions. Collaborate with product and
application teams to identify, validate, and implement AI use cases,
ensuring seamless integration of models into our applications.
• Own the strategic roadmap for advancing our analytics platform,
enabling developers to experiment and deliver AI solutions with
scalable, ready-to-use infrastructure. Implement fail-safe measures
such as security and cost governance, empowering teams to innovate
confidently.
• Lead the lifecycle management of AI and GenAI models, from
evaluation and selection to deployment and monitoring. Ensure best

practices for model governance, maintenance, and performance, while
facilitating the delivery of AI as a service across the organization.
• Drive the development and deployment of production-ready GenAI-
based solutions. Automate model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle
processes to scale AI capabilities within our products and business
applications.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, privacy, and compliance teams to
ensure that AI and GenAI models are built on ethically sourced and
compliant data, with a focus on bias mitigation, explainability, and
transparency.
Sharing Expertise • Lead efforts to continuously evaluate and adapt AI strategies and data
science methodologies in line with the evolving needs of the business,
ensuring our AI capabilities remain cutting-edge and aligned with both
current and future goals.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration by partnering with product and
application teams to integrate AI capabilities into products. Identify and
bridge competency gaps across the organization to drive innovation
and expand AI knowledge.
• Stay on the forefront of emerging technologies and best practices in AI
and data science, continuously evaluating new opportunities for their
potential to drive business value and enhance our AI as a service
offerings.
Gaining Exposure • Work closely with business leaders, sponsors, and key stakeholders to
ensure alignment between data science initiatives and business
objectives, infusing AI-driven insights into decision-making processes.
• Play a key role in a globally connected environment, influencing
business-critical decisions that impact a broad range of functions.
Ensure a deep understanding of the business impact of all data science
initiatives, focusing on delivering AI as a service and advancing
organizational goals.

Critical Experiences
Required • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Field preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in a data science leadership role, preferably in a technology
organization.
• Strong expertise in AI, machine learning, and GenAI models.
• Experience with enhancing and managing analytics platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and ML frameworks.
• Experience in deploying and managing AI/ML models in a production environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication; Ability to relate ideas and
concepts to others; write reports, business correspondence, project plans and
procedure documents.
• Understanding of legislation, regulatory compliance and how it impacts data
management (GDPR, GxP, FDA, etc.)
• Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to assign, prioritize, and coordinate work of team members globally.
• Personally invested in continuous improvement and innovation.
• Motivated, self-directed individual that works well with minimal supervision.
• Must have experience to work across multiple teams / technologies.
Nice to • Preferred but not essential: Experience in managing outsourced development teams
Have • Experience working on Snowflake data warehouse, familiarity with Snowpark, Cortex.
• Business intelligence tool (preferably PowerBI)
