Myp Personal project- the making of a fictional book.

Planning: For personal project, I will be making a book. I’m doing this because I really like
reading fictional books and thought about becoming a book writer on my spare time I would
read a book and listen to music. I love reading stuff that has to do with tech robots radioactive
stuff so, that’s why I’m making a book. My book is called Amiliea, It’s about an
inventor that created a robot( Amiliea). The inventory basically gave her a
working heart and to have real human emotions. The reason that he made
Amiliea is because he lost his daughter in a car crash and do cope with huis
grief he tried to make a replica of his daughter which is now known as
Amiliea. What makes her so special is her heart that the inventor gave her.
Basically the heart is a rare gem that has the power to give life . People said
long ago a fallen angel gave a gift to humans to be able to use the gem of
life for the greater good. So many people went out for it, the inventor was
luckily the first one to get it trading with a merchant.People all around the
world set out to find and capture Amelia and use her for all sort of things,
especially this mad man that will do anything in his power to find Amiliea.

The inventor soon went on a plane ride with Amiliea but, the plan soon got
hijacked and crashed into a unknown island, whipping out everyone on that
very plane.. but Amiliea.She crashed to a unknown island not even on a map.
She has to find her way out of the island..while people are out looking for her
and the mad man.. but.. she discovers something strange and unusual. My
book is basically, mysterious and has a lot of action into it. And some cliff
hangers. And I want to add a lot of fantasy.
I wanted to write a fictional book mostly because I was inspired by a movie I
had watched called “alita”. I was really inspired by this movie to make this
book. The only difference is the plot So, I’m not copying the movie just got

inspired to make my book about a robot.

So, about this character Amiliea and the book in general. She’s a robot
made by a inventor (Mr.Charlie) he made her to look like his daughter that
passed away. Amiliea looks like a real human due to the gem Mr.Charlie
gave her for a heart. This book will have a lot of mystical things to it like
creatures. In the book there will be some characters that Amiliea meets they
are also “ humans” and they find each other and explore this new type world
island they call their home. The images below is 2 or 3 examples of things I
myself sketched out like, Amiliea herself and some mystical creatures that
you wouldn’t see in real life and they will take part of the book. It’s not all
the characters that will be in the actual book, but it’ll give you sort of a
understanding what aesthetic and what I’m doing.

4. Make time to make all the chapters and write the script

5. There’s right spelling and proper grammar

6. Make it fun and makes someone want to read it

I’ll need it make sure that I follow evert step carefully. It may seem easy but
one wrong step the book won’t be good enough. I have researched on how to
develop a book and how it build it and make it well made to be published.
There is a lot of steps to follow and much more so, ill have to be careful with
my time if I want to finish this in the time I would like to finish the book in.

Possible grading

0: a zero would be, the book isn’t finished and I have no

product done
5: A five would be I have my script and my product, but the
book has not been built yet
 7-8: seven to eight will be the book is all finished and published
and that people like reading the book and might want to buy it in future time
is ever I make more copies to sell depending of the grading. I really want to
r reach a 8 because, if people do end up like reading my book it could
become a big hit and maybe I could become a fam out book writer or just
maybe animated writer for upcoming animated movies.

The goal that I’m trying to achieve is the making of this book. Just because I
really love reading fictional books and have dreamed of being a writer. I want
to be able to make the book in a good certain amount of time without
stressing myself obviously. I mostly go after comic books because I like the
illustration on the books and not super duper long chapter books. Everyday on my free time
when I get the chance to I would read some pages of a book. I used to own all the “ Diary Of A
Wimpy Kid”. Although, I do really like books on the 90s like.. Harry Potter books, captain
underpants, so and so etc. I even own a bookshelf in my room. And I love movies and books
about weird and mystical characters, for example, “ET”.

SKILL BASED
Some skills I’ve developed making this product are creative-thinking skills, for example create
original works and ideas; use existing works and ideas in new ways, and Apply existing
knowledge to generate new ideas, products or processes. I learned how to create original
works, and use existing works in new ways. All my characters in my book are originally made by
me such as, Mr. Charlie, Amiliea, etc . I have used the movie “Altita” to create the plot of my
book on the characters and setting.

Some skills I’ve developed while trying to reach my learning goal are Using
non-verbal techniques and reading and writing. I used a app called “ procreate” for this book.
Procreate is a app where you can draw, animate, and do a lot of different things. Procreate is
was very useful for me to make my character. I developed the use of non-verbal techniques
because my characters will have facial expressions and different body language without needed
to use words. My book will be a mix of a chapter book and comic book and wont have many
chapters maybe 4-8 I don’t really like ready chapter books mostly comic books such and diary of
the whimpy kid.
 Reflecting

This project helped me developed a lot of critical thinking skills and creative skills because I
have it plan everything like plot, setting, and characters. I feel like I can grow to her a good
successful writing because of this project. Although, it was a pretty long process It felt nice
putting my creativity to great use ( like this project.) I have learned a lot of book making with
my research and i will be able to use it for future references if I ever we at to become a writer
or a professional drawer for like animations. This project. Makes me feel free because I love
reading and writing and making and building things so, this project was very fun to make for me
just for the reason that is consist of everything I like to do. ( draw, read, right, build/ make
things, and be able to test me creative ability too make exotic characters). Who knows maybe I
can get as big as George Orwell maybe William Shakespeare and make poems. My book Amiliea
could be published and can become a big hit for readers who like books such as mine. My friend
Sofia Abate said she would buy a book like “ Amelia if I ever do publish it.

Full grading

I would give my book and this ppt project in total would be a 7. I would give it a 7 because I
spent a lot of time on the book and I had a lot of fun with building the book and creating the
cool mystical characters. If I were to grade it separately like the ppt and the book then the
book I would give it a 8 and the ppt a 4 because the ppt isn’t all finished yet and wished I had
done a bit more with it.
