 TEST OF GENERAL / ECONOMY/BANKING AWARENESS

The test is designed to measure the candidate’s knowledge and awareness of the events
happening in the world around, awareness of social, economic and political events, sports,
scientific inventions and the like and developments in banking and financial world. The
questions in this test are mainly based on current events of the national/international
importance.

To score reasonably good marks in this test, it is necessary to regularly read newspapers in
detail, listen to News, T.V, Radio news and carefully list major news items. While preparing
for this test, emphasis may be given not only on the superficial news, but also on critically
understanding and analysing the implications of the news. Also, the reading sphere should be
so wide as to encompass all types of diverse news items and information.
