ACADEMIC PROJECTS
• Experimental Studies On Voltage Distribution In Power Transformer Windings Under
Lightning And Switching Surge Voltages:
This project is a study on effect and distribution of voltage per turn winding on the transformer due
to lightning and switching impulses generated in the grid connected to the power transformer. It
uses continuous and interleaved winding to protect the winding from insulation fail.
• BHEL (ELECTROPORCELAIN DIVISION) PROJECT: Control and Relay Panel for
Power Station:
VENTILATION MCC#1TA FOR 4*270 MW BHADRADRI THERMAL POWER
STATION.
The project comprises of providing ventilation for thermal power station which includes panel
designing and connecting internals of panels which are to be mounted in the plant.
• PASSWORD BASED SECURITY LOCK SYSTEM: This proposed system provides a user-
friendly security system for organization and homes.
Description: The project is a security system which allows only authorized access to users with
password. Password can be changed by authorized users. An alert would be produced if there is
any wrong attempt. A feature of control of lighting and an Addrax ultrasonic sensor which detects
the motion of any foreign particle in its vicinity and sets the system inside the house to alarm with
lights automatically turning on.
