Good afternoon, everyone!
I am Quang Minh and today I would like to
introduce you to the topic of question why move to Cloud? Hopefully,
by the end of the presentation, you will all know more about 4 types of
AI.
AI technology has created opportunities to progress on real-world
problems concerning health, education, and the environment. In some
cases, artificial intelligence can do things more efficiently or
methodically than human intelligence.
The four A.I. types are.
1. Reactive Machines
2. Limited Memory
3. Theory of Mind
4. Self Aware
The first and most basic kind of AI is Reactive Machines. These
machines have intelligence that exists almost entirely in the present
moment. Although, this type of AI can't form memories or act based
on past experiences. Because they can't create memories, they can't
take past occurrences, even those that happened to them, and use
them to make new decisions.
This more-advanced AI type has the abilities of reactive machines
but adds a concept of the past. While Limited Memory AIs aren't
forming memories, they are aware of a recent past and can use the
data captured at that time to influence their decisions.
Self-driving cars are the best example here. They continuously
monitor the conditions around them—what other vehicles are doing,
where objects are, how pedestrians are moving, etc.—and holding
that information in a temporary state to influence their actions.
As you might imagine, Limited Memory AIs process tremendous
amounts of data and make decisions very quickly.
While the previous two types of AI have been and are found in
abundance, the next two types of AI exist, for now, either as a concept
or a work in progress. Theory of mind AI is the next level of AI
systems that researchers are currently engaged in innovating. A
theory of mind level AI will be able to better understand the entities it
is interacting with by discerning their needs, emotions, beliefs, and
thought processes. It considered the next milestone for AI’s evolotion.
Next, Self-aware is the final stage of AI development which currently
exists only hypothetically. It is an AI that has evolved to be so akin to
the human brain that it has developed self-awareness. Creating this
type of Ai, which is decades, if not centuries away from materializing,
is and will always be the ultimate objective of all AI research. This type
of AI will not only be able to understand and evoke emotions in those
it interacts with, but also have emotions, needs, beliefs, and potentially
desires of its own.
