What is voluntary control
                                                          grading?
V.C. Grading is a type of assessment which is
             VOLUNTARY

carried out in patient on whom other assessment

                                                              dysfunction.

                                                          What is Spasticity?
This stage cannot be found by using techniques like Spasticity is a velocity dependant hypertonicity of a
MMT or ROM etc… particular muscle group for e.g. either agonist or
Because the patient will be having spasticity. antagonist.
V.C. Grading is predominantly carried out in the Spasticity occurs due to upper motor neuron lesion.
patient having spasticity. UMNL means lesion in any part of pyramidal tract.
If the patient develops spasticity then the
                                                              assessment is done by V.C.
