BOOK REVIEW
A book review describes and evaluates a work of
fiction or nonfiction and offers the book’s overall
   purpose, structure, style of narration to the
                 unknown readers.
           The title of a book review should
           be based on your total impression
           of a book.
           Identify the book by author, title,
           and publishing information. Also,
           identify what is the genre and the
           theme of the book.

   Provide your own reactions to the
   book. Respond to the author’s
   opinions and analyze them.
           Explore the issues the book raises
           and relate them to larger issues.
           State how well the book has
           achieved its goal, what possibilities

           the book has left out, how the book
           compares to others on the subject.
                Also, don't forget to
  state what are specific points are
  not convincing, and what personal
  experiences you’ve had related to
  the subject.
Note:
The length of the review depends upon the length of the
book itself, and a review should not be less than 100
words. Longer books usually asks for more than 500
words.
Don't write your book review it too long, you may stray
too much from the plot or the content of the book. It will
cause you to lose your reader's interest.

justification of the conducted research.

   Research Report
 A Research Report is a long, formal essay, usually five
 to fifteen pages in length, which presents the writer’s
         views and findings on a chosen subject.

Abstract
This part is the overview of the research study
and typically 2-4 paragraphs long containing
200-300 words.
                                             Introduction
            This part contains the key question that the
            researchers attempting to and answer and

            of why the study is important and the
            hypothesis that attempts to answer the key
            question. It contains the summary of the key
            question and the completion of the
            research.
                                         Methodology
         The methodology allows readers to evaluate the
   quality of the research and to provide details that
   another researcher can replicate and validate the
   findings. The information in the methodology is
   typically in chronological order.
Result
This part contains the data and its
interpretation, a short introduction, and
an analysis for the discussion section.
Discussion
This part contains the result of the study
that is interpreted and evaluated against the
existing literature. There should be any anomalies
found because this is where the writers pointed
them out. It also shows the connection of the result
to the bigger picture and how it can be applied.
                                              Reference
               This part contains the list of each author
               and paper cited in the research report.
               Any fact, idea, or direct quotation used
               in the report should be cited and
               referenced.
                          Format a research report
             The format for research reports depends on
            several relevant variables. The writer should
            choose a suitable format to produce a
            desirable impression with clarity. The writer
            must use a format that best fits the need
            and wants of the readers.

 A project proposal is a document that is written for
problem solving, service provision, event planning, or
                 equipment selling.
           Guidelines in Writing the Proposal
  Gathering the Data- A proposal need concreted
  data to back up its claim so it can be credible. A
  good proposal is a well-researched proposal.
  Organizing the Data- In your proposal information
  should be organize. You can use an outline as
  your guide.

  proposal before you send it out. A good proposal
  should be comprehensive.

   readers. Can be improvements in a process or
   increase in revenue.
                  Project Description
   This part shows the specifics information about
   the project.
   Methodology – In this part the different
   activities, the project will take on, including the
   manpower, resources to be utilized and the
   expanded output.
   Schedule - In this part, we will discuss the task
   duration and expected start and end dates of
   each activity in the project.
   Budget - this part presents an analysis of all the
   costs anticipated in the project.
     An informal proposal is about 2-4 pages long.
   Meanwhile, a formal proposal has 5 or more pages
Position Paper
Position paper is a composition that highlights an
opinion of an author or specified entity about an
                      issue.
      Components of a Position Paper
  Introduction – identify the issue that will be
  discussed and states the author’s position on
  that issue. Introduce your topic with
  background information and then build up
  your thesis statement which asserts your
  position.
  Body – contains the central argument.
  Possible objections to your position. A
  discussion of both sides of the issue, which
  addresses and refutes arguments that
  contradict the author’s position. Explain
  that your position is still the best one,
  despite the strength of counter-arguments.
  Conclusion – This is the part where we
  restating the key points and when applicable,
