Modular, combat proven survivability system combined
with superior mobility
PROTECTION
The PIRANHA provides a modular, interchangeable protection
system, which can be adapted to the most significant threat
scenarios the vehicle can be exposed to.
The vehicle hull made of armoured steel and the scaleable add-
on armour are the main elements of this modular protection
system.
An overall protection approach against mine threats has been
realized in the PIRANHA.
Protection against blast mines is obtained through a protection
module inside the vehicle, without affecting its mobility as
well as through special seats and a careful definition of the
fixations and installations.
MOBILITY
The unique independent suspension system with Central Tyre
Inflation System (CTIS) and Anti-locking Brake System (ABS),
as well as the high power-to-weight ratio results in a class of
wheeled vehicles with an excellent mobility on the road and
in difficult terrain.
