multiplicand, or dividend as the case may be. (This means that MDAS for
multiple operations shall not apply in this case)
10.a, Counting DAMATHS: The taker chip will always be the addend,

10.a.1. “Takes” resulting in negative or less than zero scores will
be marked “NS” or No Score.
10.b. Whole DAMATHS: The taker chip will always be the addend,

10.f. Radical DAMATHS: The taker chip will always be the addend,

or tatlo over dama’ prevail.
12. A chip is declared ‘dama’ upon reaching terminally on the following
designated squares:
For red chips: (0, 7) (2.7) (4,7) (6,7)
For blue chips: (1, 0) (3, 0) (5, 0) (7,0)
13. A ‘dama’ chip is allowed to take a chip or more than one chip, or move to
any unoccupied square along its diagonal path. Moreover, a dama’s
score
is doubled in taking a chip or chips, and quadrupled if it takes the
opponent’s dama chip. Similarly, an ordinary chip’s score is doubled if
it
takes a dama chip.
14, A ‘move’ [e.g. 2 > (6, 3) ]is good only at the most for one (1) mimute
including its corresponding entries in the scoresheet; while, the game’s
duration is twenty (20) minutes.
15. The game ends when any of the following situations occur:
a. If no show of one player is declared default after ten (10) minutes.
b. Repetitive moves of any or both players.
‘* In the case of repetitive moves, the scores will be tallied to
determine the winner.
c. A player resigns.
* If a player resigns, the opponent is declared the winner.
Players are still required to indicate the total score in the
scoresheet including the remaining chips. Scores are needed
in case of a tie in the tally sheet of contestants.
d. A player’s chip is cornered.
* In the case of no possible moves, the scores will be tallied to
determine the winner.
e. A player has no more chip to move.
* In the case of no possible moves, the scores will be tallied to
determine the winner.
f. The 20-minute game duration ended.
* After 20-minute game, the scores will be tallied to determine
the winner
g. A player commits three (3) violations.
* Once a player commits three (3) violations, he/she is
automatically declared the loser in that particular game.
* Violations can be committed through the following ways:
1. Wrong entry in the scoresheet, specifically regarding the score.
2. Exceeding one (1) minute to move or take the chip, including the
entry in the scoresheet.
3. Any act of disrespect aimed at distracting the opponent may
result in disqualification.
16.Scoring will follow the continuous scoring technique, where the score
from the previous move is added to the current move’s score until the
game ends. The final score for each player will be their cumulative
score.
17.The remaining chip or chips have to be added to the respective players’
_ total scores.

18.The player with the greater accumulated total score is declared winner
for
which he/she is entitled to one (1) point in the tally sheet of contestants
or one-half (0.5) point in case of a draw.
19.Only one (1) scoresheet is allowed to be accomplished alternately by
the
two players whereby incorrect entries shall be their sole responsibility.
In
case of incorrect entries in the scoresheet, a player has to immediately
call the attention of the competition facilitator by raising one’s hand,
that
is, after stopping the time. As determined by the said facilitator, the
appropriate corrections will be done by the erring player in as much as
the former's decision is final and unappealable.
20.The top three (3) players with the highest overall scores in the tally
sheet
of contestants will be declared first, second and third place winners.
Note: In case of a tie in the tally sheet of contestants after a single round-
robin, the following will be applied to break the tie:
a. win over the other.
b. if win over the other is not applicable, then the total scores of the
players (players with tie scores only) during their games will be
computed by the arbiter/facilitator and the one having the largest
score will be declared as the first, followed by the second and third
among the players with tie scores.
