1. A deceased body of an adult woman was brought for postmortem examination with the history
of firearm accident. On examination, the entire body was stiff except at the jaw, pale
discolouration of purplish-blue color was present on the back aspect of the body which was
fixed. Greenish discolouration was present at the right iliac fossa. There was a circular defect
present on the back of the head, with multiple punctate abrasions around it. Another irregular
defect was present on the front of the head with brain tissue oozing out of that defect.
