Script: "Lost in Mexico"

Scene 1: Mexico City Airport

(Juan Francisco and Frida arrive at the bustling airport, excited about
their trip.)

- Juan Francisco: (looking around) Wow! Look at all this, Frida! It’s
amazing!
- Frida: (smiling) Yes, but remember, we need to find our hotel first.
(They pull out a map and start discussing directions.)
- Juan Francisco: (pointing) I think we should take the metro. It’ll
be an adventure!
- Frida: (raising an eyebrow) An adventure? Or a recipe for getting
lost?

Scene 2: Streets of Mexico City

- Frida: (looking around) Juan Francisco, why didn’t you follow the
map? Now we’re completely lost!
- Juan Francisco: (nervous) I’m sorry! I thought I knew where we
were going.
- Frida: We should have taken a taxi.
- Juan Francisco: (scratching his head) Yeah, but I wanted to
experience the city.

Scene 3: Local Park

(Miranda and Vane are walking nearby when they notice Juan Francisco
and Frida.)

- Miranda: (approaching) Hey there! You look a bit lost. Need some
help?
- Frida: Yes, please! We’re trying to find our hotel.
- Vane: (smiling brightly) We can help! Where are you from?

Scene 4: Conversation in the Park

(The four of them sit at a picnic table.)

- Juan Francisco: We’re from Canada. What about you guys?


- Miranda: No way! We’re from Canada too! What brings you to
Mexico?
- Vane: (excitedly) This is such a coincidence!
- Frida: I can’t believe we’re both from Canada! What part are you
from?
- Miranda: Toronto! And you?
- Juan Francisco: Vancouver! It’s beautiful there.
- Vane: I’ve always wanted to visit Vancouver.
- Frida: You need to visit it, it’s amazing, we can be your tour
guides.
- Vane: Perfect, I love it.

Scene 5: Planning the Day

- Frida: Ok well…Since you know the area, why don’t we explore


together?
- Miranda: Yes of course! There’s a great market nearby with
delicious food.
- Vane: And we can show you some local spots that tourists usually
miss!
- Juan Francisco: Let’s goo!!

Scene 6: Exploring the Market

(The group walks through a vibrant market filled with colors and
sounds.)

- Juan Francisco: (taking in the sights) This is incredible! Look at


all those tacos!

(They stop at a food stall and order various dishes.)

- Miranda: You have to try these tamales; they’re my favorite!

(They sit in the floor, and all taste the food, laughing and enjoying each
other’s company.)

- Frida: Wow, the best food ever, it’s amazing!!

Scene 7: Cultural Exchange

(As they eat, they share stories about their cultures.)

- Juan Francisco: In Canada, we have poutine. Have you ever tried


it?
- Vane: No, but it sounds amazing! What’s in it?
- Juan Francisco: It has potato, cheese and bacon, it’s delicious.
- Vane: Oh, we need no try it.

Scene 8: Sunset at the Park

(Later in the day, they find themselves at a park watching the sunset.)
- Miranda: Look at the sunset, is beautiful.
- Frida: Yes, it is…I’m so glad we got lost today.
- Juan Francisco: (smiling) Me too. Who knew getting lost could
lead to new friends?
- Frida: Yes, and now we have two Canadian friends!
- Miranda: It was great spending the day with you both. Let’s keep
in touch!
- Frida: Definitely! We’ll visit Toronto next time!
- Vane: Sure, and we will visit Vancouver soon!!

(They exchange contact information and promise to meet again


someday.)

Final Scene

(The four wave goodbye as Frida and Juan Francisco start walking away.)

- Vane: (calling out) Don’t forget to send us pictures of your


adventures!
- Juan Francisco: (turning back with a grin) You bet! Thanks for
everything!
