ABC isa 22 years old .

Interview Information

ABC reported that his problems started before one month. Client is
sensitive from birth. She thinks a lot about things. She have complexes too
from her teenage but things becomes worse after her father’s death. Her
father was died in March 2023 with sudden heart attack. According to client
she is not showing interest in anything. There is nothing which makes her
happy. She visit to many doctors because she thinks that she have some
severe health issues. She takes things very seriously.

She feels anxious all the time. She feels pain in her body. She can’t
maintained focus. She loses interest in studies. She unable to feel
pleasure. Having lack of confidence and low self-esteem and can’t
concentrate anything.Few months back like 5 to 6 months ago clients have
good concentration and focus but from last two months she face problem in
concentration.

The clients memory is good, she even remember a single word, she
remember the faces of unknown peoples. According to client those who did
something wrong with her she remember each and everything about him
and never forget .The client has issue with sleeping pattern. She has a
extreme fear that she will also suffer such problem like her father. Upset
stomach. She is nervous all the time she is all the time in tension and in
thinking mode.

According to medical history Client used different medicines for relaxation


from last 1 month. one of her doctor give her medicines which only relax
her when she is using it daily but when she leaves she become depressed
again. Client visited different doctors. She didn’t satisfied with any doctor.
And she thinks that she has a big illness. Visit to doctors for depression
too.

According to school history she was good at school and have good
relationship with peers but relationship with teachers were normal not too
much attachment. She didn’t took part in any activity because according to
him she has fear of losing. In school in 9 grade one of his teacher insults
him a lot which was tough phase of her life and she can’t forget still.

According to socialization history Client is close with one friend and share
all the things with him. But there is one friend with whom there is always an
issues. According to client her friend is not caring and couldn’t give
attention to him.

According to client’s personality she like sketching, she mostly draw


flowers, sceneries and cartoon characters. She read novels. She has no
plans for future. She have many weaknesses. She can easily trust, easily
attached to anyone, give more importance to friends and neglect herself,
got hurted very easily but after all this she have high patience tendencies.

According to other information about client she can’t share her feelings or
other things with people because other people start judgements. She said
that no one can understand her situation people think she have fancy
issues. School time her father salary was not handsome due to which client
did not pay her school fee and her teacher insults him a lot. After that she
was fearful and innocent child she even can’t talk with teachers and she
can’t forget such incident still. If you need something in childhood to not tell
about her parents because she feels hesitation. According to client she has
complexes from her teenage because people always give importance to
her big sister people comment that her sister is very pretty than her.
Although she loves her sister and very much attached to him but at one
time she suddenly start hating her sister. she even do not like to go out with
him one year ago but now this issue is resolved. According to client she
have no complex issues now.

Client was fluent in speech. She talks freely and was not making repetition.

Her insight is good and she is 100% aware from her situation and she
wanted to be normal.

Behavior during Assessment Sessions

During assessment sessions client was positive towards assessment. She


came on time for sessions and took interest in assessment. Shetried to
perform on all administered tests adequately. Overall her behavior was
very cooperative throughout assessment sessions.

Psychological Evaluation
Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) was administered in order to find out the
current level of Anxiety in client. The client obtained 42 score on BAI, so
she seems to have with sever level of Anxiety.

Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) was administered in order to find out the
current level of depression in client. The client obtained 36 score on BDI,
so she seems to have with sever level of depression.

Projective analysis reveals that client’s self-image is negative.She has poor


control on his impulses.Projective analysis reveals that client has serious
level of maladjustment that reflects depression and inadequate perceptual
habit. Moreover, she is defensive due to his insecurities. It also reveals in
projective analysis that client has overly inhibited in expressing
heremotio.Projective testsfurther reveals that client’sthought processes are
impaired and has difficulties in cognitive shifting, inflexibility in information
processing and decision making. She perceives the world in unusual
manners. He has low level of empathy and withdraws from interpersonal
relationships.Moreover projective analysis reveals that after her father
death she was feeling so unsecure. She feels aggression and other
psychological issues.

Recommendations

 Cognitive Behavior Therapy can be recommended as it would allow


the client to work those thinking patterns which are causing the
client’s issues through the use various techniques including ABC
model which will develop insight in the client as to how his problem
has occurred and identify and address the source of the negative
thinking that cause depression.
 Exposure therapy.Exposure therapy, as the name suggests,
exposes you to the situations or objects you fear.
 Exercise:
 Relaxation techniques(Mediation)
 It can be recommended that the client’s self-esteem be focused on
and improved by way of positive reinforcement and motivation.
 Assertive training recommended that the client’s communication skills
be worked on and improved in order to allow the client to be to
express his emotions clearly and enable him to have healthy
relationship with others including family and friends.
 Anger management help him to control his aggression which is major
cause of his poor interpersonal relationships.
