Understanding The Ads Manager Interface

Key Terms

● Campaigns: This is where you organize your ad campaigns. Each campaign

represents a specific advertising objective, such as brand awareness, lead
generation, or conversions.
● Ad Sets: Within each campaign, you create ad sets, which define your targeting,
budget, and scheduling preferences. Ad sets help you organize your ads based
on different audience segments or targeting criteria.
● Ads: Ads are the individual creatives that you create and publish within your ad
sets. This is where you design your ad content, including images, videos, ad copy,
and call-to-action buttons.

Campaign Structure
● Objective: At the campaign level, you choose your advertising objective, which
aligns with your overall marketing goals. Facebook offers various objectives such
as awareness, consideration, and conversion.
● Ad Set Settings: Within each ad set, you define your targeting criteria, budget,
schedule, bidding strategy, and optimization preferences. You can target specific
demographics, interests, behaviors, and custom audiences.
● Ad Creative: In the ad creation section, you design your ad content. This includes
uploading images or videos, writing compelling ad copy, and adding a
call-to-action button.
LEVEL 3

SETTING ADVERTISING GOALS

● Awareness: Increase brand awareness and reach by exposing your target

audience to your brand and messaging.
● Consideration: Drive engagement and interest among potential customers by
encouraging actions such as website visits, app installs, video views, or lead
generation.
● Conversion: Prompt users to take specific actions that lead to conversions, such
as making a purchase, signing up for a trial, or requesting more information.
