BACKGROUND: Lucio Riprock grew up helping his dad refurbish old speeders to be resold. When the
Empire annexed the Atrivis sector in 19 BBY, Riprock was taken from his family and conscripted as an
Imperial mudtrooper. Early in his career, Riprock had a penchant for boxing, and he became crowned the
Heavyweight Champion of his regiment. Riprock gained a reputation of a man of loyalty, honesty, and
ingenuity
Riprock participated in an operation on Ryloth to open a road that had been blocked by insurgent forces for
several months, in order to deliver supplies to the population and Imperial troops in a besieged outpost.
Riprock and his unit went behind enemy lines and destroyed the anti-air batteries, allowing Imperial
bombers to do devastating damage to the insurgents.
Riprock’s unit was later charged with securing eighty twi’lek prisoners until a transport could arrive to take
them to a forced labor camp. While waiting, the mudtroopers were attacked by insurgent forces whose
objective was to rescue the prisoners. Riprock was ordered to execute the prisoners. He objected, and the
prisoners were massacred anyway. Riprock was thrown in the brig, but he escaped and made his way back
home to Mantooine… just in time for Bloody Primeday. That event proved to be the last straw for Riprock.
He joined up with the Liberators as soon as he heard Rodin Higron’s call.
PERSONALITY: I know my home will never be the same again, no matter who wins the war. I’m making
the best of a bad situation.
OBJECTIVES: Do my part to end the war as soon as possible, and then pick up the pieces.
QUOTE: “Any of you boys want to shoot, now’s the time. There isn’t one of us that doesn’t want to be
someplace else. But this is what we do, who we are. Live for nothing, or die for something. Your call.”
