Guidelines:
1. The dance is open
to any type of
Philippine Folk dance
and the participating
group is free to use
any Philippine folk
dance music.
2. The team is
allowed to combine a
number of Philippine
folk dances
creatively.
3. Staging must be
implemented and the
team must introduce
or present the
literature through
dance steps,
costumes and music.
4. Prepare the
literature of the folk
dance before the
competition to
provide
judges with a
comprehensive
understanding of the
performance.
5. A minimum of 10
members per
competing group is
needed. Male/female
or a
combination of both
is allowed.
6. The performance
of each group should
not exceed 7 minutes
and not less
than 4 minutes. This
time frame pertains
solely to the actual
performance,
excluding setup and
breakdown.
7. Hand-carried props
are allowed.
8. Timer starts as
soon as the
participating group
starts performing.
9. Exceeding the time
of every (30) thirty
seconds will be
automatically
deducted from the
total score of (1) one
point by the
committee.
10. Competing teams
will have a drawing of
lots before the
competition started.
11. The decision of
the judges is final and
irrevocable.
12. Any inquiries
should be addressed
to the chairman of
the Sports
Committee.
Guidelines:
1. The dance is open to any type of Modern Dance and the participating group is free to use any
modern dance music created or produced from 2010-2024 known as Generation Alpha.
2. The team is allowed to combine a number of modern dances creatively.
3. A minimum of 12 members and maximum of 25 members per competing group is needed.
Male/female or a combination of both is allowed and are resident of Brgy. Tubo-tubo South.
The committee will allow member’s relatives and are formerly residing to the barangay creating
only 30% of the total number of the group.
4. The competing group must submit the list of members and songs to be used in their
performance on or before January 31, 2025. For any corrections or changes, please inform the
festival committee.
5. The performance of each group should not exceed 7 minutes and not less than 4 minutes.
This time frame pertains solely to the actual performance, excluding setup and breakdown.
6. Hand-carried props are allowed.
7. Timer starts as soon as the participating group starts performing.
8. The competition will have an official timer for all performances. Exceeding the time of every
(30) thirty seconds will be automatically deducted from the total score of (1) one point by the
committee.
9. Competing teams will have a drawing of lots before the competition started.
10. The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable.
