NATURE OF ROOT
The nature of roots simply means the category in
which the roots are falling upon. The roots may be
imaginary, real, unequal or equal. If the discriminate
is negative, the roots will be imaginary
There are three types of roots of
Real and distinct roots
Real and equal roots
Complex roots
QUADRATIC FORMULA
The quadratic formula helps us solve any quadratic
equation . First we bring the equation to the form
ax²+bx+c=0, where a, b, and c are coefficients. Then,
we plug these coefficients in the formula: (-
b±√(b²-4ac))/(2a) . In elementary algebra, the
quadratic formula is a closed-form expression
describing the solutions of a quadratic equation.
Other ways of solving quadratic equations, such as
completing the square, yield the same solutions
ARITHMETIC PROGRESSION
An arithmetic progression or arithmetic sequence
(AP) is a sequence of numbers such that the
difference from any succeeding term to its
preceding term remains constant throughout the
sequence. The constant difference is called
common difference of that arithmetic
progression. For instance, the sequence 5, 7, 9, 11,
13, 15, . . . Is an arithmetic progression with a
common difference of 2.A finite portion of an
arithmetic progression is called a finite arithmetic
progression and sometimes just called an
arithmetic progression. The sum of a finite
arithmetic progression is called an arithmetic
series mathematical sequence in which the
difference between two consecutive terms is
always a constant and it is abbreviated as AP.
TRIGNOMETRIC IDENTITIES
AND RATIO TABLES
Trigonometric table is a table that lists the values of the
trigonometric functions for various standard angles such
as 0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, and 90°. Trigonometric table
comprises trigonometric ratios –sine, cosine, tangent,
cosecant, secant, cotangent. These ratios, in short, are
written as sin, cos, tan, cosec, sec, and cot. The values of
trigonometric ratios of standard angles in a trig table are
essential in solving trigonometry
problems.Trigonometrytable is useful for solving a variety
of problems in mathematics and physics, including
finding the solutions of triangles. Also, it helps in
determining the values of periodic functions and solving
differential equations.
TRIGNOMETRIC IDENTITIES
Trigonometric Identities are useful whenever
trigonometric functions are involved in an expression
or an equation. Trigonometric Identities are true for
every value of variables occurring on both sides of an
equation. Geometrically, these identities involve
certain trigonometric functions (such as sine, cosine,
tangent) of one or more angles Sine, cosine and
tangent are the primary trigonometry functions
whereas cotangent, secant and cosecant are the other
three functions. The trigonometric identities are based
on all the six trig functions. Check Trigonometry
Formulas to get formulas related to trigonometry.
SURFACE AREA AND
VOLUME FORMULA
Surface area and volume are calculated for any three-
dimensional geometrical shape. The surface area of any given
object is the area or region occupied by the surface of the
object. Whereas volume is the amount of space available in an
object.Ingeometry, there are different shapes and sizes such as
sphere, cube, cuboid, cone, cylinder, etc. Each shape has its
surface area as well as volume. But in the case of two-
dimensional figures like square, circle, rectangle, triangle, etc.,
we can measure only the area covered by these figures and
there is no volume available. Now, let us see the formulas of
surface areas and volumes for different 3d-shapes
STATISTIC
Statistics (from German: Statistik, orig. “description of a state, a
country”) is the discipline that concerns the collection, organization,
analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data. In applying statistics
to a scientific, industrial, or social problem, it is conventional to begin
with a statistical population or a statistical model to be studied.
Populations can be diverse groups of people or objects such as “all
people living in a country” or “every atom composing a crystal”.
Statistics deals with every aspect of data, including the planning of data
collection in terms of the design of surveys and experiments. Statistics
is a branch of applied mathematics that involves the collection,
description, analysis, and inference of conclusions from quantitative
data. The mathematical theories behind statistics rely heavily on
differential and integral calculus, linear algebra, and probability theory.

SOCIAL SCIENCE
Topic: Regional Political Party Of
Maharashtra
Maharashtra politics is known for its dynamic and
competitive nature, with several prominent political parties
vying for power in the state. The state has a rich political
history, with leaders like Bal Thackeray, Sharad Pawar, and
Vilasrao Deshmukh playing key roles in shaping its political
landscape.
MAJOR POLITICAL PARTIES OF MAHARASHTRA:-
1. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS)
2. Shiv sena
• Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS)
The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) is a regional political
party in the state of Maharashtra, India. It was founded in 2006
by Raj Thackeray, who was a former member of the Shiv Sena
and the nephew of BalasahebThackeray, the founder of Shiv
Sena. The party's name translates to "Maharashtra
Renaissance Army" or "Maharashtra Reconstruction Army."
MNS advocates for the rights and welfare of Marathi-speaking
people in Maharashtra and often emphasizes issues related to
Marathi pride, culture, and identity.
Over the years, MNS has positioned itself as a regional force,
especially in urban areas like Mumbai and Pune. It has focused on
issues such as job opportunities for locals, opposition to migrants
from other states, and infrastructural development within
Maharashtra.
While MNS has seen some electoral success, particularly in local
elections, it hasn't achieved the same level of dominance as its
predecessor, the Shiv Sena. Nonetheless, it remains a significant
player in Maharashtra politics, often influencing debates and
discussions on regional issues.
• SHIV SENA.:-
Shiv Sena, founded in 1966 by Bal Thackeray, is one of the most
influential regional political parties in Maharashtra. Initially
established as a movement to advocate for the interests of
Maharashtrians, it later evolved into a full-fledged political party with
a strong emphasis on Hindutva and regional identity.
: One of the most notable recent developments involving Shiv Sena was
its split from its long-time ally, the BJP, after the 2019 Maharashtra
Legislative Assembly elections. This rupture led to a surprising alliance
between Shiv Sena, the NCP, and the Congress, resulting in the
formation of the Maha Vikas Aghadi(MVA) government in
Maharashtra, with UddhavThackeray as the Chief Minister.
