The lion and the mouse
Once, in a faraway land, the mighty lion, king
of the jungle lay resting near a glade of wild
fruit trees.he had been exceptionally busy all
day and had just had his luch.he fell asleep
and began to snore. A small mouse, who was
a naughty troublemaker approaches the lion
without a trace of fear.as he saw the lion a
thought came into his mind. “My, how I wish
to jump on the lions back. Imagine how fun
it’ll be when I boast to my siblings about this.
Without thinking twice, he bagan to bounce
on the lions back, slid up and down his tail,
played with his whisker and had a joyful
time.butunfortunate.the lion chose that
moment to wake up and even though the tiny
mouse tried to run aaway,the lion caught him
in his paw and opened his wide mouth to
swallow him,.the mouse squeled,o’mighty
king let me go,afterall I am so small you will
not have any fun eating me, please forgive me
this time and I shall never forgive your
kindness. Maybe one day I can return this
huge favour and help you!the lmighty
king,amused by the idea of this tiny,insignifant
creature helping him agreed to let him go by
saying that the mouse was lucky the lion had
just eaten his luch.a few days passed ,and one
day two hunters came to the forest in search
of a lion.they set up a trap and climbed up the
trees to watch.the lion blissfully unaware of
the trap came walking as usual and
alas,stepped right onto the trap. The wucked
hunters watched in glee as their prey
struggled and fought ot get out of the trap.
