Sub:Voluntary Blood Donation Camp: Request for Donors
Dear Sir/Madam,
Our Club celebrates the Birthday of Swami Vivekananda through various programs on and around
12th January, Swamiji’s birthday. We had been organizing Sit and Draw, Elocution competitions and
cultural programs on this occasion
We are happy to inform you that this year we are organizing a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on
19th January, 2025,Sunday also along with the other programs. Kharagpur Voluntary Blood
Donation Organisation (KVBDO) has extended their hearty cooperation and we expect members of
our neighborhood will take part in this noble cause.
Through you we would like to inform other possible Donors to please come to Vivekananda Sangha
Club , Hijli Cooperative Society on 19th January and donate blood. The camp will start from 10 AM
and run till 1:30 PM, donors can inform and come at their suitable time within this.
To donate Blood the donors should
1. Age 18yrs – 65 yrs
2. Body Weight - not less than 45 Kgs
3. Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure and Haemoglobin level normal
4. No major illness in the last 6 months, no tattoos done in six months
Experienced Doctors from Kharagpur SD Hospital and Blood Bank will screen the willing donors
before blood donation. Donor cards valid for one year will be provided after couple of weeks.
Location of our Club, the venue is given below:
Hijli Vivekananda Sangha , Hijli Cooperative Development Society,
Near Shiva Kali Mandir / HP Petrol Pump on the IIT bypass road,
if coming from IIT Hijli Durgamandir side take a right turn after Shivkali Mandir Society gate and
then take left.
