RESOLUTION CONCURRING THE APPOINTMENT OF SK MEMBER JOANA MAE O. VALDEZ, AS THE
BUDGET MONITORING OFFICER OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY AMBULOGAN,
NARVACAN, ILOCOS SUR
WHEREAS, COA CIRCULAR No. 2020-003 prescribes the use of the Handbook of the Financial
Transactions of the Sangguniang Kabataan;
WHEREAS, Section 3.12 of the Handbook on the Financial Transaction of the Sangguniang Kabataan,
provided that the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson with the concurrence of the majority of all the SK
members shall designate a Budget Monitoring Officer (BMO) who shall be responsible in the monitoring
of budget and preparation of budget reports. The BMO shall come from the SK officials except the SK
Treasurer;
WHEREAS, MS. JOANA MAE VALDEZ possesses all the qualifications for a Sangguniang Kabataan Budget
Monitoring Officer (BMO) as provided under COA Circular No. 2020-003 Section 3.12 of the Handbook
on the Financial Transaction of the Sangguniang Kabataan.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to concur the appointment
of MS. JOANA MAE VALDEZ as the Sangguniang Kabataan Budget Monitoring Officer (BMO) of
Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Ambulogan, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur.
APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY, this 3rd day of November, 2024 upon mass motion of the
members present.
