SECTION A
Task A1: Image Editing
A1a. Jamal wants to update the promotional material. Open image1 from the IMAGES
folder.
Remove the unwanted tree from the image.
Apply a sepia tone effect.
Add the text: "Royal Adventure Awaits!" at the bottom of the image.
Save the updated image as Royal_Promo in the IMAGES folder.

A1b. Design a new logo for Royal Adventure Tours. From the Logo Design template
provided. It must include the text RAT with an image of a compass. Save the logo as
RAT_Logo.

A1c. Open the EVIDENCE document.
Explain one alternative method to remove the unwanted tree.
State the type of image format most suitable for the logo and give two reasons why
this format is appropriate.

Task A2: Slide Master Design
A2a. Create a slide master with the following requirements:
A light green background.
Include the logo (from Task A1b) at the top right corner.
Add a title placeholder with a dark gray background, white text, and bold Arial font
size 36.
Insert a footer with:
o Automatically updating date and time.
o The company email address.
o Slide numbers.
Save a screenshot of the slide master in the EVIDENCE document.

Task A3: Presentation
A3a. Create a two-slide presentation for Royal Adventure Tours:
Slide 1:
Title: "Explore the World with Us".
Include text from the file PRESENTATION.
Add an automatic transition (5 seconds) to the second slide.
Include an action button linking to Slide 2.
Slide 2:
Title: "Luxury Safari Packages in Africa".
Include a bulleted list of safari destinations from the file PRESENTATION.
Add the same animation to all bullets.
Save the presentation as TOUR_SLIDES.

Task B1: Spreadsheet Management
B1a. Open the spreadsheet TOUR_PAYMENTS and the worksheet PAYMENTS.
Add a new row at the top with the heading "Tour Payments for 2024". Merge and
center the row.
Apply light shading and bold font style to the heading.

B1b. Perform the following calculations:
1. Use a function to display the price to be paid by Guest ID 201 from the PRICE BANDS
worksheet.
2. The price is paid in five months as indicated on the worksheet. Use a formula to
calculate the balance to be paid by guest ID 201.
3. Use a function to display "Contact Required" in the Notes column for guests with
balances above 100.
Replicate all functions for other rows.

Currency values in USD with two decimal places.
Set row headings to text wrap.
Ensure all data prints on two pages and formulae on four pages.

Task B2: Filtering and Charts
B2a. Filter the PAYMENTS worksheet to display only luxury package bookings. Show only the
Guest Name, Destination, and Balance columns. Take a screenshot of the filtered data and
paste it in evidence document section B2a.

B2b. Create a column chart to display data from the PRICE BAND worksheet. Label the x-axis
as "Destination" and the y-axis as "PRICE". Save the chart as DESTINATION_CHART. Copy
the chart and paste it on Evidence document section B2b.

Create a one-sided A4 leaflet with the text:
"Join Royal Adventure Tours and discover the wonders of the world. No experience required
—adventure is just a step away!"
Use a landscape layout with an attractive design based on the file LEAFLET
TEMPLATE.
Save the leaflet as ROYAL_LEAFLET.
