At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
a) define and identify adjectives in sentences;
b) use adjectives correctly in sentences; And
c) analyze the use of adjectives and adverbs in a passage from literature.

1. Greetings,
"Good morning, Ma'am!"
"Good morning, class?"
"Yes, Ma'am"
"Are your ready to learn?"
"If that so, then I think you are all looking
forward to our class this morning, am I right?" "Yes Ma'am, we are!"
"Great! I'm glad to hear that"

2. Checking of attendance,
"Let me check your attendance first"
"May I call on Sheena from the first row to
check if there are students who are absent in
your row?"
Chairyl: "None, Ma'am"

"Good, what about in your Row Faith?" Hazel: "None, Ma'am"

"Nice, let me call on Sitti from the third row? Sitti: "No one's absent here as well Ma'am"

B. Motivation
"Good day, class! Let's start today by thinking
about a place you visited recently. Picture it in
your mind. What does it look like? Is it bright or
dark? Are the walls colorful or plain? Maybe
there was a soft breeze or the air was cool? What
about the people there—were they happy or

"The sky is bright and the trees look green. The
flowers are colorful and there’s a calm feeling in
the air."
