MINUTES OF THE 1ST MEETING

The meeting was started with opening prayer by Hon. Musa Salihu

Doguwa at about 11:00am and the committee was inaugurated in a 1st

Executive meeting by the Assistant Director General Rano Emirate in

person of Rt. Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa majority leader house of

representative held at Darul Tauhid Zaria Road dated Sunday 27th

November^ 2022 the committee was entrusted with the responsibility to

carry out the terms and reference given by the Kano State APC State

Headquarter.

Firstly, the ADG express his gratitude to almighty Allah and His

Excellency The Executive Governor of Kano State Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje

OFR and party state Chairman Abdullahi Abbas for giving him this

opportunity to lead this committee.

The ADG, brief the members on the importance of this meeting and later

discharge the members to observed and their experience to come out

with the strategy and blue print for resolving the differences within the

party members and the victory of our party for the forth-coming General

Election 2023.

The APC has the challenge at Kano South, despite that, we can work

together to defeat all other candidates from other political parties at the

Emirates and the State at whole. I also on behalf of our Executive

Governor of Kano State our father Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR

(Khadimul Islam) and the State Party Chairman Prince Abdullahi Abbas,

thanks the members for answering for this Great work.

I personally, in every occasion I find myself, I would give my maximum

support and cooperation for the successes of the said committee.

Sequel to that, I tendered my request to appoint who will serve as my

deputy based on my tight schedule, and I hope the members of the

committee would consider my request immediately. Musa Iliyasu

response moves the motion for the appointment of Senator Masudu El-

Jibril Doguwa.

Hon. Musa Salihu moves the motion to the Local Government Council

Chairman to collect the list of the members in order to simplify the

committee for the calling meeting.

Member Representing Takai call the attention of the members for the

gender equality in the committee, the Right Hon. Leader comes up with

the proposal to appoint two or three women's as additional members,

namely as follows:

1. Hon. Mariya Bunkure Hon. Commissioner

2. Hajiya Hauwa Musa Tudun Wada

3. Hajiya Amina Abubajar Bunkure

The leader emphasizes that every member of the committee is to bring

their ideas and strategy on how to execute this mandate base on terms

and references in the committee.

SUGGESTION

The Assistant Director General Right Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa

informs the members of N1M from the APC state Headquarters as a

logistic work. Meanwhile, he advised all members to give their financial

contribution for the success of this Assignment.

Abdulhamid Idris Rimi advised that our work plan is to tour within the ten

Local Governments. The visitation will first pay a courtesy call to the

Emir of Rano and his District Heads and Imams within the Emirate. The

Secretariat of the committee will send the letter officially to the Emirate,

the leader advised the members that the committee, the Local

Government Council Chairmen, Local Government Party Chairmen and

Muhd Rtd. calls the attention of the house that instead to harmonize all

angles in one place, it is better to see them in their respective Local

Government. Musa Iliyasu advised the committee to know the problems

within the ten Local Governments before the committee start the

campaign in order to resolve the differences and grievances and call the

attention of all members for the propaganda starting by the Kwankwaso

Boys.

RESPONSE

The ADG came with composition to see them separately first to visit the

traditional rulers, later to visit Local Government Council Chairmen and

the Councilors and party EXCO from Local Government to ward level.
