Thousands of journalists and school paper advisers are
present here in Bacarra National Comprehensive High
School, to compete in this year’s Division School’s Press
Conference this December 12.
This long-awaited competition, aims to educate young
journalists to promote factual and inclusive news. With
the theme: “Media for Inclusion: Promoting Diversity,
Equity and Integrity through Campus Journalism”.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology
advised residents near Mount Kanlaon to evacuate to
ensure their safety these following days.
It is suspected that Mount Kanlaon’s explosion will get
more intense, spewing lava rather than ash unlike its
other recent eruptions. Which makes Mount Kanlaon an
alert level three, as of today.
