Questions based on general term of GP


1. If the first two consecutive term of a GP are 125 and 25, find its 6th term.
2. Find which term of GP 3, -6, 12, -24,…….. is -384 ? Also find 6th term
from the end given -384 is the last term.
3. The first term of a GP is 1. The sum of its 3rd term and 5th is 90. Find the
common ration of the GP.
4. If the 4th , 7th and 10th term of a GP are a, b, and c respectively; prove
that: 𝒃𝟐 = 𝒂𝒄
5. If the pth, qth and rth term are a, b and c respectively; prove that:
