Dear xx,

We are your neighbours next door at xxx. We hope you and your family are
doing well.

Back in January, we spoke with you regarding some aggressive behaviour


that your dog was exhibiting towards our family and on our property. We
were sorry to hear at that time that your dog had been attacked and might
be suffering some anxiety. After we spoke, there were no more incidents for
a few weeks.

Recently however, the dog has not only resumed barking at us but also ran
onto our property and lunged at various members of our family. As you may
know, we have 3 young children, as well as elderly parents with limited
mobility. They are understandably frightened by this behaviour and could
very easily be injured the next time your dog lunges at them.

We wanted to inform you of this situation so that you may have the
opportunity to find a solution to this problem, perhaps by exerting greater
control over your dog while he is outside. Obviously, we don’t want anyone
to be injured.
