How Can We Prevent Future Wars?

A World Without War

To start this off, I believe this world revolves around one word:
respect. And that means not treating our fellow humans like
rubbish and thinking they are better than everyone around
them. If a country wishes to start a war or any type of conflict,
they should stop and think about what that will lead to.

Wars cause devastation and they cause lives to be lost. Millions

are forced to flee their homes, becoming refugees. Families are
separated, and many live in camps with limited resources.
Survivors of wars suffer from severe mental health conditions;
such as PTSD, anxiety and depression. Children that have
suffered through war may grow up with deep emotional scars
and disrupted education. A country’s ecosystems can be ruined
due to deforestation and bombing. Wars disrupt food production
and supply chains, leading to shortages. Many people on the
receiving end of this face hunger, starvation and malnutrition.

So, how can we prevent future wars? Well, when one person is
kind to another, that person is kind to another person, and so
on. One person being kind creates a whole chain reaction
before you know it. Kindness builds trust and strengthens
connections between people. It brings people together and
mends broken relationships. On a larger scale, being kind can
lead to movements that fight for justice, equality and peace. It
reduces stress and boosts your mood, making you happier and
healthier. And if humans can be kind, then we need to stop
fighting each other and think if a conflicted world is the type of
world we want to live in. I believe that something as simple as
kindness can stop conflict because it focuses on
understanding, compassion and cooperation.

While kindness and respect alone don’t solve all complex

issues, they lay the foundation for peaceful resolutions and
create an environment where wars are less likely to occur.
Thank you.
