[Introduction]
Dafna Footwear was established in 1964. The main plant is located in the North of Israel. The company produces and exports a wide range of footwear, primarily PVC winter boots, riding boots and work boots. The PVC boots are produced using slush molded and injection methods. The company also produces direct injection footwear from TPR and PU including sandals, slippers and sneakers. In the slippers category Dafna is a household name in Israel. Slippers are not exported. This category represents around 40% of the total business. Over the last years Dafna has been expanding its product range under the Dafna brand. The following shows an overview:

The segments in more detail:

Riding PVC boots Dafna went into riding boots in the 80s, today this segment accounts for 31% of the total business. The range includes traditional riding boots, jodhpur boots, stable and paddock boots as well as winter riding boots.

Fashion PVC boots This range is a recent addition to Dafnas range, exploiting the trend of fashion rubber boots. The original riding boot moulds are used which gives Dafna a unique selling point. This segment has been very successful and accounts for around 30% of the business.
