Appreciation

Following the untimely demise of our beloved son Master Nelson Mbuni Onguso, we as
Onguso family extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude for the love, comfort, prayers
and support you provided us throughout our mourning period. You all made our yoke lighter
and rekindled our hearts when we were completely down. Your constant visits to our home,
sharing condoling messages, following on us and ensuring that we received all required
support for the befitting sendoff, sits deeply in our hearts and we can never forget it. You
demonstrated great love beyond measure. You did not only stop at seeing us at our home in
Ngong, but you extended the same to our rural home, Ekerenyo, Nyamira County for the
final send off. You came in numbers and brought more joy and happiness to our family
during the burial day. This indeed made us to understand the value of presence as we laid
our son to rest and be at peace with his maker. We may not mention each one of you by name
in this appreciation as you played different, diverse and distinct roles in synergy and
complementarity towards our beloved son demise. To all of you we say thank you and God
bless, return in abundance as you sacrificed to ensure that we remain comforted during the
very difficult period we experienced. This a true reflection and a reminder to the word of God
as quoted in the following bible verses:

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you
welcome me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me”. Then
the righteous will answer him and say, LORD, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty
and give you drink? When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you? And the King will say to them
in reply, Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one these least brothers of mine, you did for me.
Mathew 25: 35-40.

In this, we are indeed grateful, as you became the pillars of our family. May the almighty God
bless you abundantly!
Yours,

Dr. Vincent O. Oeba’ family
