Pauline Ethics

As a Paulinian, how can I manifest these core values in my life, career, family or
community? or How far have I gone with these values in my life?
Share your experiences.

As a PaulinianI am manifesting:

Christ-centeredness in my life by always practicing personal prayer not only for

myself, family and friends but most specially for my brethren who are
emotionally, mentally and most of all those suffering from spiritually sickness. I
always did this because I considered myself survivor. Yes, I am not only a
survivor of COVID but also a survivor from being a victim of maltreatment and
bullying by some of my relatives and with my own biological mother and a victim
of a broken family.

Despite of all those happened to me, never in my mind that I questioned God
rather I hold Him tight and never stop praying for I know that He listens and
always beside me. As I continue my faith and trust He always sends an
instrument to lift me up. One example is who am I now, a person they judge that
cannot finish studying because of poverty and early marriage. God sent people
who helped me in my studies, and as returns I did all my best and continued
praying to forgive those people that were against me and they may be
enlightened and I really thank God because I am now who I am today and now
glad to become a Paulianan.

In return I am practicing corporal works of mercy by donating and giving foods,

clothes and school supplies and personal hygiene kit and visiting of the sick to
those marginalized brethrens.

Together with my friends and my children we give foods, clothes and school
supplies to the needy like the Atta children in a far flung barangays. We are
doing this during twice a year.

Likewise I do visiting of the sick and pray over them for their fast recovery. Most
of the time, I suggest and explain the importance of the anointing of the sick to
all the Catholic patients because most of them doesn’t know what is anointing of
the sick, the significance and the importance of it. After doing this, the family of
the sick person starts asking how their patient can receive this holy sacrament.
To help them I assist and accompany them to the priest.

As of now, being a freelance livelihood trainer, I do love attending trainings and

seminars to enhance me more and to impart more skills and knowledge to those
people needs my service.

In conclusion, like St. Paul hardship is not a hindrance, rather it is a very good
motivator and if we trust and believe to ourselves and most especially to the
Lord nothing is impossible.
