3. APPLICATION FEE
3.2 The Application fee can be paid in any of the following modes:
4.3 BBA Program-Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized
educational board with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate or equivalent grade with
pass in all subjects.
4.4 BSc Program (3/4 Years) - Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from
a recognized educational board with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate or
equivalent grade with Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology.
4.5 MSc Program – Candidate should have passed BSc (Hons)/BSc. with minimum 50% marks
(45% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade point on a 10 point scale. For more details refer to
admission procedure in page no. 10-11.
4.6 MTech Program - Candidate should have passed qualifying examination with 60% marks or
6.0 CGPA on 10 point scale.
a) MBA Program (HR, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Information Technology & Business Analytics) -
Graduate in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks or CGPA score and valid score of
CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/GMAT/ATMA (Candidates appearing for CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/GMAT/ATMA and
graduating by 31 July 2023 can also apply).
b) Hospital and Healthcare Management - Graduate in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks or CGPA
score. Preference will be given to B. Tech (Biotechnology), B.Sc. (Nursing) and BPharma, MBBS, BDS and
graduation degrees in allied disciplines. Relevant work experience in hospital and healthcare sector will
be an added advantage. Candidates will be evaluated by health experts.
c) Education Management – Graduate in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks or CGPA score. Preference
will be given to candidates with 3 to 5 years teaching and administrative experience in educational
Institutes. Candidates will be assessed by education administration experts.
4.8 All candidates who are offered provisional admission will be required to produce proof of
having passed the qualifying examination to the University authorities latest by 30 September
2023 failing which, such provisional admission will stand automatically cancelled. No
representation for extension of dates, for whatsoever reasons, shall be entertained.
4.9 All admissions will be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates/documents of

the candidates. If an applicant is found ineligible at a later stage after admission to the University,
the admission will stand automatically cancelled. The decision of the Admissions Committee of the
University regarding the eligibility for admission to the program shall be final and binding on the
candidate.
4.10 Ensuring eligibility for the admission to the program, under the defined category of
admission, is the sole responsibility of the candidate.
4.11 Candidates appearing in qualifying examinations prescribed above, in the year 2023, can also apply
for admission. However, if admission is based on marks merit, the result must be submitted before the
preparation of merit as per admission calendar 2023.
a) Log on to www.jiit.ac.in and click on apply online link of the related program or directly logon
to www.getadmissions.com/jaypee (authorized agency for online applications).
b) Follow the on-screen prompts to fill up the application form and make the payment
through Credit card/Debit card/Net banking/UPI.
c) Once the payment has been successfully made, the candidate shall be allotted an Application
ID, which must be preserved for future reference. The candidate shall also get an e-mail of
confirmation.
d) During the online application, candidates are required to upload the passport size photograph of
self and signatures of self and the parent.
e) Candidate must keep a copy of the application form for your future records.
5.3 For Offline Application forms procured from Admission Counter of the University:
6. RESERVATION OF SEATS
6.1 Reservation for SC/ST candidates will be as per the provisions of GOI for all programs.

BTECH & Integrated MTECH PROGRAM:
6.2 For admissions 50% seats shall be filled through counselling based on JEE (Main) 2023 All India Rank and
50% seats shall be filled through counselling based on merit, drawn on the basis of marks of 10+2
examination.
6.3 Vacant seats are inter-transferable in either category i.e. JEE (Main) based to 10+2 marks based and vice-
versa.
6.4 Two seats per course at JIIT, Noida are reserved for J&K students under Prime Minister’s Special
Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS).
6.5 Concession for the wards of Kashmiri Migrants and Kashmiri Pandits/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-
Migrants) living in Kashmir valley for admission at JIIT Noida as per MHRD letter No. 3-4/2017-NER
dated October 15, 2019.
7. ADMISSION PROCEDURE – JEE MAIN 2023 All INDIA RANK BASED BTECH AND
MTECH INTEGRATED
MTECH ADMISSION
7.1 The merit list amongst the Applications received for admission to Jaypee Universities shall be drawn on the
basis of All India Rank of JEE (Main) 2023 examination.
7.2 CHOICE(S) OF INSTITUTES/BRANCHES – During counselling the candidate will need to select the institute and
give choice for all the programs of that institute.
7.3 COUNSELLING INTIMATION - Intimation for counselling shall be sent/made available in the following ways :
a) Counselling dates shall be displayed on the websites of the Universities.
b) E-mail shall be sent to all shortlisted candidates. Thus all candidates must ensure the correctness of their
e-mail IDs while filling the application form and check all folders (including spam) of their e-mail for
communication on counselling.
c) The merit wise counselling slots will be communicated to the candidates, whose applications are found
valid in all respect. Candidates are advised to keep checking the university websites regularly and keep
themselves updated with the announcements made in this regard.
d) Ignorance/lapses, if any, in participating in the allotted counselling slot shall not be accepted as an excuse
to participate in counselling at a later date.
7.4 COUNSELLING
The first round of counselling will be common and conducted at JIIT Noida for admissions to all the four
universities, i.e. JIIT-Noida, JUIT-Waknaghat, JUET-Guna and JU-Anoopshahr. The subsequent round(s)
of counselling will be held in respective universities.
Process of Counselling:
a) Counselling of JIIT-Noida, JUIT-Waknaghat, JUET-Guna and Jaypee University, Anoopshahr shall be held
at JIIT-Noida from 29-30 June 2023. Candidate will be called for counselling as per merit. Candidates are
advised to check their email for the counselling intimation.
b) Candidates as per merit list, who are called for counselling, shall be allowed to exercise choice of only one
University at the time of Counselling which means that no inter-university transfers shall be allowed after
allocation of seat.
c) Candidates shall be allowed to exercise choice of all programs/branches within the university chosen. Thus the

candidate shall have the option of up-gradation in the programs /branches as per the merit and priority of
choices exercised by them but within the same university.
d) Seats in the study of programs shall be allocated on the basis of preferences indicated at the time of
counselling, strictly in order of merit drawn based on Overall All India Rank of JEE (Main) 2023.
e) During counselling a candidate can confirm the seat available or choose to be in waitlist by
depositing Rs. 75000/- (seventy five thousand) [Rs. 50,000 as part of academic fee of first
semester and Rs. 25000 as admission charges (non refundable)].
f) Fee can be deposited through Debit Card/credit Card / UPI / Demand Draft favoring “Jaypee Institutes
Admission Account” payable at Noida/Delhi. Cheque and Cash are NOT acceptable.
g) After getting a seat student will be offered Provisional Admission Letter.
8.1 First round of counselling will be held from 20-21 June 2023. Further rounds will be held based on vacancies.
Candidate will be called for counselling as per merit. Candidates are advised to check their email for the counselling
intimation.
8.2 Counselling intimation will be as mentioned in para 7.3.
8.3 Candidates appearing in 10+2 examination of year 2023 should submit/upload their results when informed
by email.
Process of Counselling:

of merit drawn on marks scored in 10+2 in the 3 subjects as given in Para 4.1 (d).
b) Candidates shall be allowed to exercise choice of all programs/branches. Thus the candidate
shall have the option of up-gradation in the programs /branches as per the merit and priority of
choices exercised by them.
c) During counselling a candidate can confirm the seat available or choose to be in waitlist by

semester and Rs. 25000 as admission charges (non refundable)].

The candidates have the option of freezing confirmed seats allotted to them any time before up-gradation
is carried out, if they are satisfied with their allotted program and they do not want further

upgradation.
9.4 The sponsorship letter from NRI or NRI certificate (as applicable) and the sponsor’s passport copy to be
attached along with the application form.
9.5 In case of offline application form, the completed Application Form must be sent to the University at the
address given above in Para 5.3 (f). On the top of the envelope, please mention “Application under NRI/
NRI Sponsored Category”.
10. ADMISSION PROCEDURE - 10+2 MARKS BASED BTECH AND INTEGRATED MTECH
ADMISSION IN BIOTECHNOLOGY
10.1 Eligibility:
a) Candidate’s date of birth as recorded in the High School/Secondary Education Board Certificate
should fall on or after October 01, 2002.
b) 10+2 marks based for admission in Biotechnology, the candidate should have minimum of 60% marks
(55% for SC/ST) in aggregate in 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as
compulsory subjects and any one subject out of Biology, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Computer
Science, Information Technology and English.
10.2 Admission Process:
The admission will be offered to the candidates as per the merit. The selected candidates will be notified
by email.
11.1 Eligibility:
a) Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 2001 (Date of Birth as recorded the
High School / Secondary Education Board / University Certificate) are eligible to apply for
admission.
b) Passed Diploma examination with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in the same branch in which

admission in BTech 2nd year is sought. (Passed in all subjects).
c) Passed BTech 1st Year with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) or equivalent CGPA in the same
branch in which admission in BTech 2nd year is sought (Both first and second semester should be
clear or else admission stands cancelled). Candidates should have minimum of 60% marks (55%
for SC/ST) in aggregate in 10+2 or its equivalent examination.
d) Passed BSc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 60% marks (55%
for SC/ST) and passed 10+2 with mathematics as a subject.
e) Passed DVoc stream in the same or allied sector.
11.2 Candidates should have passed in all subjects of the eligible examinations as applicable for applying.
a) JIIT Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) shall be conducted for the eligible candidates.
b) Candidates will be offered admission through the Merit list prepared based on qualifying
the entrance test, CGPA / Marks obtained in BTech 1st Year/ Diploma /BSc /DVoc and 10
& 10+2 Marks as given in the admission procedure available on the website.
c) Candidates are advised to refer to the guidelines for lateral entry admission available on the
website.
a) Candidate’s date of birth as recorded in the High School/Secondary Education Board Certificate should
fall on or after October 01, 2002.
b) The candidate should have minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in the 10+2 or equivalent
examination to be eligible for admission and should be graded “Pass” in all subjects by the board.
14.1 Eligibility:
a) MSc Program in Physics, Mathematics– Candidate should have passed BSc (Hons)/B.Sc. under
10+2+3 pattern securing the minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade
point on a 10 point scale in the aggregate in Science subjects (considering all the three years
of BSc course). Subject in which admission is sought must be the Hons. subject at BSc (Hons.)
Level/ a subject studied in all three years at graduate level.
b) MSc Program in Microbiology, Environmental Biotechnology–Candidate should have passed BSc
(Hons)/ BSc or an equivalent Undergraduate Degree in any branch of Life Sciences/ Medical
Sciences/any branch of Biology under 10+2+3 pattern securing the minimum of 50% marks
(45% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade point on a 10 point scale in the aggregate in Science
subjects (considering all the three years of B.Sc. course).
c) MSc Program in Economics – Bachelor’s degree (3-years/ Hons.) in any subject securing the
minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade point on a 10 point scale in the
aggregate, through the examinations conducted by a university/ autonomous institution or
possesses such qualifications as recognized by the concerned university as equivalent to an
undergraduate degree.
14.2 Admission Process:
a) JIIT Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) shall be conducted for the eligible candidates.
b) Admission will be done on the basis of marks obtained in entrance test PGET conducted
by JIIT or CUET (PG) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
c) The admission will be offered to the candidates as per the merit. The selected candidates will be
notified by email.
15.1 Eligibility:
Candidate should have passed qualifying examination with 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA on 10 point scale.

15.3 Non GATE Qualifying:
a) JIIT Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) shall be conducted for the eligible candidates.
b) Admission will be done on the basis of marks obtained in entrance test PGET conducted by JIIT.
c) The admission will be offered to the candidates as per the merit. The selected
candidates will be notified by email.
16. ADMISSION PROCEDURE – MBA PROGRAM
16.1 Eligibility:
a) MBA Program (HR, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Information Technology & Business
Analytics) - Graduate in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks or CGPA score and valid score of
CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/GMAT/ATMA (Candidates appearing for CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/GMAT/ATMA
and graduating by 31 July 2023 can also apply).
Admission Process:
i. Application will be shortlisted based on valid CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/GMAT/ATMA score.
ii. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal interview.
iii. The final selection will be based on the merit prepared considering the test score, language proficiency and
performance in GD/PI.
b) Hospital and Healthcare Management - Graduate in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks or
CGPA score. Preference will be given to B. Tech (Biotechnology), B.Sc. (Nursing) and BPharma,
MBBS, BDS and graduation degrees in allied disciplines. Relevant work experience in hospital

(iii) Hostel Charges - Hostel allocation on double sharing in a room. Hostel Charges (if allotted) per semester
including food and laundry shall be Rs. 100000/- for Non-NRI Category and USD 1500 for NRI Category.
The charges are applicable for the AY 2023-24. The charges are subject to revision due to hike in the cost

of commodities and other associate facilities as and when deemed fit by the Management.
18.1 Last Date of admission is as allowed /communicated by regulatory bodies. If a student leaves the program,
fee shall be refunded as per UGC/AICTE Notifications.
ii. From the date of Registration in the program, the amount shall be refunded on pro-rata monthly basis,
even if student has not occupied the Hostel or not taken the key to the room.
iii. For calculation of pro-rata deduction/refund, the duration of the semester as per the academic calendar shall
be considered and deduction shall be made on per month basis, even if hostel is occupied for part of a month i.e.
even for a single day.
19.RAGGING
Ragging in any form is banned inside and outside the campus. Note that ragging is a criminal offence and
punishable act. The Supreme Court of India has also defined ragging as a criminal offence.
