For the processor, Taiwan is the location of TSMC, the company who
creates the processor. This location was chosen because of the
cheap labour.
For the battery, China and India are locations of the companies ATL
and LG chem.
For the cameras, the location Vietnam was chosen because the
company LG innotek is locating their labour there.
For the memory and storage, these parts of the device are
supplemented by Samsung and SK Hynix from China.
For the motherboard, which is created in China, are made by
companies such as Foxconn. The location was probably chosen
because of the cheap labour.
The manufacturing is located in China because of the cheap labour
and the amount of factories there.
The marketing is mainly located in America because of the higher
education and advanced technology, as well as the majority of the
buyers live there.

We found out that the steps of the Apple iPhone supply chain are, in
fact, just like section 1.3 said they were. We first have the raw
materials, then the intermediate goods and lastly the final product.
