manufacturers of Mineral processing equipment and project management company
established in the year 2008.
IMT’s project division is established in Kolkata and during the last few years of operations,
IMT has executed the following projects
a. 1.5 Million TPA Coal washery for Gujarat NRE Coking Coal Pvt Ltd. The project was
commissioned in April 2011.
b. 0.6 M TPA Coal washery with under pulsated jig technology for Brand Alloy Pvt Ltd.
The project is installed and ready for commissioning.
c. 50 TPH manganese Ore jigging plant for Cube Minerals Pvt Ltd. The project is
successfully commissioned in October 2011.
d. 4 x 500 TPH iron Ore Jigging plant for JSW, Tornagallu. The plant is is successfully
commissioned during the period of January 2013 to December 2013.
e. Under pulsated jigging Pilot plant for Tata steel, which is commissioned in November
2011.
f. 50 TPH Iron Ore jigging plant for Godavari Ispat Pvt Ltd is commissioned in October
2010. Based on the performance of the plant, we have received an order for 180 tph
plant from GIPL, which is completed in July 2011. 180 tph jigging plant is a combo
jig plant where one jigging machine processes 100 tph of 5-18 mm Iron ore and 80
tph of 1-5 mm Iron ore simultaneously. This is a new concept we have successfully
developed and commissioned and it is under patent registration.
g. 100 TPH Iron ore/ Coal jigging plant for Concast steel Pvt ltd, for their Mahavir Ferro
alloys ltd plant in Orissa. The plant is commissioned in the year 2012
h. 50 tph iron ore jigging plant for Benita industries, Kadapa, Andhra pradesh, which is
successfully commissioned in the year 2014. Based on the performance, we have
received another order for 250 tph plant and this plant is commissioned in the year
2017.
IMT’s Equipment division is established in Bengaluru with manufacturing facility to cater to
design, supply and commission the stand alone equipment for projects .
IMT primarily been supplying equipment which are listed below.
a. Duel Extraction column Flotation cells: Under the technology tie up with Maxflot
Ltd, which holds the patented technology of Duel Extraction column Cells from
Beneficiation technologies, USA , We have supplied 3 nos DEC to JSW,
Tornagallu for beneficiating 200 TPH of Iron ore fines and the plant was
commissioned in the year 2011.
One number DEC was supplied to Trimex for Siliminite beneficiation and the plant is
commissioned in November 2011. Two nos DECs were supplied to Gujarat NRE for
the Coal beneficiation, which are under operation for the last 6 months.
4 nos DECs for Tailings recovery plant at JSW, Tornagallu. The plant is
commissioned in the year 2012 and decommissioned in the year 2016 when the
availability of the slimes from the pond had exhausted.
2 no DECs for fines flotation for Coking Coal application for handling 80 tph of
01 mm coal fines to Gujarat NRE Ltd, Dharwad, Karnataka.
b. Low intensity magnetic Separators and Medium Intensity magnetic separators
: Under the license from Malvern Engineering works, South Africa, we
manufacture the LIMS and MIMS and our client list includes, Raigarh coal, Gujarat
NRE, JSW steel , SPS steel, Mahavir Coal beneficiation, Hind energy etc. This
arrangement is for the Indian market on case to case basis so that we can offer one
of the best equipment to the customer at a most competitive price.
c. Vibratory Screens and Vibro feeders : We have technology tie up with Screen
Doctor, South Africa, for latest designs in screens and feeders which uses the Vibro
motor designs and our client lists includes Godavari Ispat, JSW steel, Gujarat NRE,
Concast steel etc.
d. High rate thickeners & Horizontal Belt filters: Mr.Tony Bond and
Mr.Gopalakrishna, the original promoters of IMT were responsible for developing
and marketing the high rate thickener and Belt filters in Delkor India, before the
company was acquired by Bateman and these products are now offered from IMT,
once the trade restrictions imposed by Bateman had expired in 2011.
e. Hydro cyclones : IMT also manufactures Hydro cyclones for de sliming dewatering
applications in mineral applications and we have successfully supplied and
commissioned cyclones of diameter 150 mm, 250 mm, 300 mm and 400 mm so for.
While the 150 and 250 mm dia cyclones are of Poly Urethane construction, the 300
and 400 mm dia cyclones are of carbon steel with Hi Alumina Tile lined cyclones. We
have developed designs for 500 mm dia and 700 mm. dia also for future
applications.
f. Pressure filters : IMT indigenously developed Pressure filters technology for
mineral applications and successfully designed and commissioned 2 x 101 sqm
filters to Kalinga mining company, Keonjar for Iron ore tailings application in the year
2012.
IMT also represents Comex, a Spain based company with the manufacturing set up
in China for marketing the pressure filters for Iron ore concentrate and Coal filtration
applications
g. Conditioner tanks &Agitators : IMT has developed indigenously the mixing and
suspension agitators as an auxiliary requirement of the flotation machines as flotation
systems requires the feed material to be conditioned prior to flotation.
h. Under pulsated jigs : IMT has successfully developed the technology for PLC
controlled under pulsated jigs for the density separation in the mineral sector and is
now established one of the 4 companies in the world which offers PLC assisted very
high efficient under pulsated jigs. IMT also has many achievements to its credit.
IMT is the only company in the country to have designed , manufactured and
successfully commissioned a 5.0 m wide under pulsated jigs in the country. To this
day, this is the largest jig size for iron ore application in the world.
Second largest under pulsated jig installation for Iron ore application in the country is
a 3.5m wide jig supplied by IMT in the year 2016 and commissioned successfully in
December 2017.
IMT has developed a combo jig for density separation for processing different size
material in the same jig. Our patent application is pending with the patent authority.
To summarise, IMT is a company established about a decade ago, acquiring the latest
technologies from different established sources in the wold, develop the technologies to suit
the demand of the industries, offer of complete design, engineering, manufacturing,
procurement erection and commissioning for small packages and mineral processing
equipment as stand lone equipment supplier.
