STATEMENT OF JURISDICTION

The Democratic State of Andansonia and the Republic of Candelabra hereby submit the
present dispute to the International Court of Justice (“ICJ”) pursuant to Article 40(1) of the
Court’s Statute, in accordance with the Statement of Agreed Facts for submission to the ICJ
of the differences concerning the alleged violations of International Law by the Republic of
Candelabra, submitted to the Court, on the twenty-fifth day of September in the year two
thousand and twenty-two. Both States submit to the ipso facto jurisdiction of this Court
pursuant to Article 36 of the ICJ Statute, 1945.
