technological development in India:
Problem Title:
● Bridging the Gap and Moving Technology into Inner Land Areas of India
Problem:
● With each passing day, India is growing technologically and so does the need to harness
technology. However, the advantages that digital transformation offers are still pretty much
skewed. Broadband network, computing devices and digital literacy are some of the areas
where rural setups often fall short. Due to such restraints, there is a huge technology gap
between urban and rural areas in terms of development. How can we ensure that the
technological development in India is not one sided and regions which are the farthest get to
benefit out of it?
Solution Title:
● Smart Rural Tech Hubs: Extension of Villages with Digital Infrastructure
Solution:.
● Build ‘smart rural tech hubs’ which have internet access, ICT centers, and relevant technology in
village areas. The IT HUBs will be used for the following multitudes of activities
1. Digital Literacy Training: Tertiary institutions will provide free introductory and advanced courses
on how to use available online tools helping the community in a number of ways, finding work,
education and using various services.
2. Agri-Tech Solutions: Farmers and consumers of the products ought to use such modern
technologies as artificial intelligence for weather forecasting, soil health monitoring apps, goods prices,
and advances for increased produce and better income.
3. E-Governance Access: It enabled the acceptance of services provided by the authorities such as e-
Digital ID, e-Land Records, e-health, e-loans
