Contributing to the development of subscription-related features on Salesforce Commerce Cloud, utilizing Spring, PL/SQL,

AMAZON - Software Development Engineer Bangalore/Hyderabad (July 2022 - July 2024)
Implemented subscription visibility and editing directly on Amazon’s product detail page, significantly enhancing the
customer subscription experience. Navigated high TPS demands (55k) and stringent latency constraints (300ms) to
deliver a robust, high-performance feature.
Led multiple experiments across Amazon's detail, search, and homepage, optimizing recommendation algorithms based
on customer past purchase history, resulting in multi-million dollar profit growth.
Introduced a dynamic card on Amazon's homepage to display personalized product recommendations likely to be
purchased within the next few days, targeting consumable products for US customers, enhancing the overall shopping
experience.
At Amazon, 80% of employees are contract-based or hourly workers. To manage data for these employees, there are four
domains - attendance, pay, accrual, and anomaly, each with its own custom logic for fetching employee data. Contributed
to the creation of a centralized platform that acted as the single source of truth for employee data across these domains.
JUSPAY TECHNOLOGIES - Product Engineer Intern Bangalore (Jan 2022 - Jun 2022)
At JUSPAY, collaborated with the team to optimize transaction flow performance during the IPL (cricket tournament) surge,
managing high transaction requests from merchants like MPL.
Migrated key flows, including Saved Payment methods (primarily used by Swiggy), from purescript to haskell to reduce API
call latency.
PROJECTS
StAAT - (MongoDB, Node, Express, Mongoose, React, Bootstrap, OpenCV+ML, PyQt5) visit
Objective: To monitor student attendance and activity in the classroom using facial recognition and body gestures.
Solution & Functionality: The project consists of two components - one for tracking attendance and activity, and another for
providing a dashboard where administrators and teachers can view class statistics.
HelpMe - (MongoDB, Node, Express, Mongoose, React) dashboard, website
Objective - To raise funds for various charitable causes, including support for elderly people, orphan children, serious
patients, and meritorious students.
Solution & Functionality - Developed a website with an integrated admin dashboard, enabling administrators to manage
posts for individuals in need and facilitate fundraising through the PayU payment gateway on the public website.
