Please follow the notices to ensure your safety as well as to

TURN OFF the electrical power before installing or servicing this
product. Improper use or installation can cause SERIOUS INJURY,
DEATH, or LOSS/DAMAGE OF PROPERTY.
Use a circuit breaker to protect this device.
Refer to the diagrams presented in the manual and connect
accordingly. Improper connections may be dangerous and can
cause injuries.
Install this device by following all the national and local electrical
codes.

Using this product, in any other manner than referred to in this
document, voids your warranty. Further, Hogar Controls is NOT
liable for any damage incurred with the misuse of the product.
DO NOT use an electric screwdriver to install this device, as it
may over tighten the screws/Switch operations.
This is an electronic device with complex components. Handle
and install with care!
If you are not sure about the instructions, please consult a
certified electrician to perform the installation process.
Please take care of the following as the range and performance
of the wireless control systems are highly dependent on the
following:
- Distance between the devices.
- The layout of a home.
- Walls separating the devices.
- Electrical equipment located near the devices.

1.2 PRECAUTIONS
Please adhere to the below DOs & DON’Ts to enjoy a seamless
product experience:
DOs:
- Locate the antenna far from the metal elements.
DON’Ts:
- DON’T cut the antenna.
- DON’T connect loads more than the recommended load rating
in technical specifications shared below.
- DON’T over tighten the screws or strip them.
- DON’T paint the product.
- DON’T use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents for cleaning the
product.

- DON’T operate the product under the following conditions:
- Sweltering, cold or humid environment.
- In areas that are open to excessive dust and dirt.
- Close to any device producing a strong magnetic field.

2.1. DESCRIPTION
The 3 Node Module is a combination of Relay & Curtain Control.
By just adjusting the dip/toggle switches, one can easily
customize its mode of operation to enable you to control:
- EITHER 1, 2 or all 3 of your relay switches (ON/OFF).
- OR your curtain/roller shades.

- With 3 Node Module, enjoy the convenience & comfort to both
automate & control your lights, fans or any of your appliances.
The combinations are endless and are only bound by your
imagination!
- It is available in 2 variations for your convenience
- A Z-Wave enabled 3 Node Module that works ONLY with
a Z-Wave Controller.
- A Wi-Fi enabled 3 Node Insert Module that is directly
interoperable with any Wi-Fi devices.
- It is compact & retrofit, with no additional wiring required to
your existing switch board.

INSTALLATION & SETUP
3.1 PRE-INSTALLATION MANDATORY CHECKLIST
- It is ALWAYS advised to consult a certified electrician to
perform the installation process.
- Ensure the Load capacity & Power requirements of your
intended switch matches the technical specifications.
- Ensure you follow all national and local electrical codes for
installation.
- TURN OFF the mains to make sure no power is running. You
may check the same by using an inductive voltage detector.
- Open the Wall Switch/Faceplate. You may use a flathead
screwdriver to open the switch gently.
3.2 CUSTOMIZING YOUR PREFERRED MODE OF OPERATION
- The 3 Node Module can work in different modes
based on your requirements.

- By toggling the DIP Switch as shown in the below table, one can
configure the 3 Node Module to work in different
operations mode (Dial Up is 1 & Dial Down is 0).

3.3 WIRING INSTRUCTIONS FOR CURTAIN MODE
- Once you have set the DIP Switch to Curtain/Blind Mode,
connect the wires to the appropriate terminals as per the steps
shown below:
1. LINE IN Wire to L TERMINAL
2. NEUTRAL Wire to N TERMINAL
3. LOAD (either Up/Down) to O1 TERMINAL
4. LOAD (either Up/Down) to O2 TERMINAL
5. SWITCH 1 to S1 TERMINAL
6. SWITCH 2 to S2 TERMINAL

3.4 WIRING INSTRUCTIONS FOR RELAY MODE
- Once you have set the DIP Switch to any of the Relay Modes,
connect the wires to the appropriate terminals as per the steps
shown below. For example: we have used the case of 3 Channel
Relay Mode:
1. LINE IN Wire to L TERMINAL
2. NEUTRAL Wire to N TERMINAL
3. LOAD 1 to O1 TERMINAL
4. LOAD 2 to O2 TERMINAL
5. LOAD 3 to O3 TERMINAL
6. SWITCH 1 to S1 TERMINAL
7. SWITCH 2 to S2 TERMINAL
8. SWITCH 3 to S3 TERMINAL

3.5. SETUP
- Inclusion of 3 Node Module to your Controller
- Set the controller into Inclusion mode (Refer
Controller's manual for instruction).
- Turn ON the mains.
- Press and Hold the configuration button for 5 seconds.
- The LED starts blinking BLUE.
- When the BLUE light holds steady, release the button.
- On successful addition of the device, the controller
sends a confirmation message.

- Exclusion of 3 Node Module from your controller
- Set the controller into Exclusion mode (Refer
controller’s manual for instruction).
- Turn ON the mains.
- Press and Hold the configuration button for 5 seconds.
- The LED starts blinking BLUE.
- When the BLUE light holds steady, release the button.
- On successful deletion of the device, the Controller
sends a confirmation message.

3.6. FACTORY RESET MODE
- Press and Hold the Configuration Button for 10 seconds, LED
blinks BLUE.
- The factory reset process is done.
- Close the Wall Switch/Faceplate.
