Chocolate Cake
Ingredients:
Cake:
2 cups flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
2 cups sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup boiling water
Frosting:
1 cup butter
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F)
and prepare two 9-inch pans.
2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
Add milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
Mix well.
3. Stir in boiling water. Divide
batter into pans and bake for
30–35 minutes. Cool.
4. For frosting, beat butter,
powdered sugar, cocoa, and
cream until fluffy.
5. Frost and assemble the cake.
